The series 7 opening episode title has been confirmed as Asylum of the Daleks. It will be shown at BFI Southbank, London on August 14th 2012 at 6:00 PM.
The Doctor’s back! He’s joined by his trusted companions, the Ponds, and the three find themselves in an extremely precarious situation, where they come face to face with the Doctor’s oldest and most dangerous enemy… the Daleks. Also, I hate to sound too picky, but Journey’s End was 75 minutes (I think. It was definitely longer than 45) and The Big Bang was 55 minutes. Wait a second! The Big Bang was 2 years ago today. 😀 Happy 2 years since our Universe was rebooted! 😀

This needs to be something special. If not a 2 parter, then a longer episode.
And as for every Dalek ever appearing. Does that mean millions of Daleks will be in this episode? I think not. Surely every incarnation of Dalek ever would be a more apt description.

June 25th, 2012 - 3:33pmWell, it look like Series 7 could be airing at the end of August since most screenings are usually 1-2 weeks before the episode. I have to admit, I was hoping that it would air around late September/early October time.
