The new radio times has revealed the title of episode 13, its a bit spoilery so we’ve hidden the details below…
The Wedding of River Song

And here it is at last – the episode with all the answers, as the Doctor journeys to Lake Silencio for his date with destiny. While I was writing this, my wife asked me, “What happens?” and when I frowned, and pondered my answer, she hurriedly added, “In one sentence. Quite a short one.” I thought a moment and said, “The Doctor goes to his certain death – and it doesn’t work out as well he expected.”

August 23rd, 2011 - 9:22pmI don’t want them to be do xmas-sy they get carried away and forget about good storyline and think about a ‘traditional’ family watching the tv on xmas part one of the end of time showed how it’s done last year aimed too much at pleasing non-who fans some of them liked it but doctor who is going to mainstream I don’t mean make it like torchwood just a bit more violent and not scary monsters for the sake of it (I did like the since though)and the doctor darker side in a good man goes to war was good it got to show Matt s acting because the doctor has been a bit 1 dimensional at times (no fault of matt smiths may I add)Also river song has been in a bit too much.But moffet can write great eps just look at a blink that was one of the best eps ever I think more writers need to get involved so we can have diffent type of eps I personaly loved the ep the lodger just saying.

After boasting that last year’s “A Christmas Carol,” was “the most Christmassy Christmas special ever,” Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat is claiming that this year’s Christmas special is going to be “Christmassy as hell.” Without revealing too much, Moffat hinted at what’s to come in the special, which he’d previously hinted as having “fire and aliens.”
“I might be cleverly redeploying a known Christmas story again, sort of… but probably not the one you think,” Moffat told SFX. “It will be massively Christmassy and moving and sentimental and sweet. It’ll be set partly on Earth, but not completely. And it might have a period setting…”
It sounds a lot like “A Christmas Carol,” but I’d be fine with that. That episode, in my opinion, was far and ahead the best Christmas special to air since the show came back in 2005. I don’t know what story Moffat is planning on adapting this time, but I’d love to see a Doctor Who take on How the Grinch Stole Christmas or something zany like that. Imagine the Doctor fighting off a big green monster who attacks at Christmas! It sounds great.

August 23rd, 2011 - 12:12pmThe Wedding Of River Song merely the culmination of a story that began back in “The Silence In The Library”. It was implied back then that she was in a relationship with the Doctor I suspect that we will discover the true nature of that relationship in this episode. How it all fits in with Emperor Churchill,Eye-patch wearing Vikings, Area 52 pyramids and dinosaurs is anyone’s guess. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m rather looking forward to finding out.
