All I’d say is ask is Russell Davies standing up to defend the ratings if there isn’t a problem with them. Why is he claiming they aren’t as good as he’d hoped. In any event Dr Who could be getting 10 million viewers – I still find it appalling and so it seems do a lot of others. Don’t need anyone no matter how rabid their tirades to try and convince me the shows doing better than the figures show it to be doing.

And another comment for darkestwho to dwell on, Doctor Who has the highest budget its EVER had… This season has also had the lowest viewing figures its EVER had in 60years… Two Facts, to think about. Doctor who really took “The power of one, the power of two and the power of (not) many” quite literally.

DarkestWho… “Russell T Davies thought he would stick it to everyone and double down with the woke BS because of the Disney money but we all knew what would happen. When it’s all about the agenda, it’s a massive fail. Proven every time.” – Hes not wrong tho, look at star trek and star wars…

You’re quite correct DarkestWho, the Cosmic News article cannot be taken seriously due to the obvious bias of the writer. However, unless you can provide us with facts and figures to corroborate your claim that the show has, as you say, ‘done just fine’ on Disney+, I think that’s also something we’ll be inclined to take with a pinch of salt. You speak about the intentions and expectations of Disney executives, as if you have the ability to read minds. The truth is, though we know the series is tanking in this country-and sorry, but it is-we have no real idea regarding it’s international performance, and we likely won’t for some time. Until then, there’s no point in any of us arguing about it.
