This trailer is providing me with nothing but hype and excitement for this episode! Why is Clara suddenly acting like a villain and claiming she has never existed and the Doctor will never enter his TARDIS again? Where are she and the Doctor at the beginning (looks like hell) ? Why are the Doctor,Kate,Osgood(and what look to be UNIT soldiers) in an aeroplane? What are the Cybermen planning and why does Clara seem to not be bothered by them? And most importantly, who really is Missy and what connection does she have to the Doctor and Clara? Looks like this ep will have to do a good job of answering all these questions! Please reply and give your thoughts and theories

I’m really excited for the finale now. Though when people post theories I never bother reading them anymore, they are the same old stuff.
I’m just going to assume Clara and Missy somehow know each other or are related in some sort of way.

I see some people have had the same idea as me (or stole mine XD), that Clara is in fact Missy in disguise/some form of Missy…

Can’t wait for this ep, hopefully a fittingly fantastic end to one of, if not the, best series since the revival…

    THEORY

what if missy is basically making an army against the doctor and all the army are the people who have died and gone to heaven
and in the future Clara dies and goes to heaven and some how she turns evil and becomes part of the army so the Clara we saw in the trailer was just the evil heaven Clara and missy is the master

      What About River?
1)They Always Meet Up In The Wrong Order.
2)Missy Did Say In Deep Breath “I Love Him”. This Was About The Doctor And River Did Kinda Get Married To The Doctor.
3)Because They Were Married, Both The Doctor And Missy Are Wearing Rings. These Could Be Marrige Rings To Show Their Relationship With Each Other.

It Is A Possiblity, But Again You Never Know Who It Could Be. I Guess We’ll Have To Wait And Find Out.

Who The Hell Is Missy Afterall?

I don’t know why, but as soon as I saw this trailer I started thinking: Clara maybe the Black Gaurdian and Missy has been like a “boss”? But I think it maybe wrong.
I really hope this doesn’t kill the end of a brilliant series. If this wrecks the last 2 years of Doctor Who, I think I might end up killing Moffat!
It’s nice to see Kate and Oswin back, but I really can’t see how this is going to go. I think the trailer went to quick with too blander content, but that maybe a good thing so far the plot haven’t been given away. I really hope Moffat pulls it out the bag and makes this the best series since the revival.

This is super exciting news for me!!! I have been thinking about this whole “promised land” thingy and… WHO IS THAT “HUSBAND SHE TALKED ABOUT IN THE FIRST EPISODE SHE APPEARED IN!!!!!! UGH. I really cant wait two weeks for this. My theory is that her “husband” is either the doctor, but he’s already married to river song… So that cant work out. But can it???? I also think that missy is linked to the gallifrey or the time lords. Also, i think 3W stands for 3 worlds, as in the nethesphere baing at the same time heaven, and hell, and the promised land…. Also i hope she doesnt kill clara or take her cause remember what she said in episode 9…… And i also think that everyone in the nethesphere/ promised land will die….

Actually, it was called the W3, not the 3W. The 3W is supposed to be an organization, and W3 was a space station. That could still be a good theory though, both possibly having connection to th Cyberman (we know W3 did, but we aren’t sure about 3W, but both episodes include Cybermen)…

My theory is that Missy is the femail version of the Doctor, as we know thay he could regenerate into a woman and this is it from a future where he is a woman. Like in the story Curse of the Fatal Death. A Steven Moffat story he did years ago.

I’ve read as I’m sure others have about the idea of the so called “physics of immortality” according to which nothing thats alive or not can just “die” or be destroyed because if the universe is a closed system energy can neither be created or destroyed:it just changes it’s form.

So unless something like this is at work as a plot device how does this idea of a “Nethersphere/Promised Land/Paradise” which seems to be more akin to ideas of the supernatural, faith and religion fit with what is still supposed to be science fiction?

Which Is my only lingering worry about a series with the new custodian of the Tardis that I have largely enjoyed.

Here’s my Theory, I think that alll the people we’ve seen Die, the Half-Face Man, the soldier from Into The Dalek and the Policeman from The Caretaker who’ve died and gone to Heaven/ The Promised Land have been Upgraded into Cybermen and have managed to find a way from the Nethersphere to Earth. The reason I say about the dead people being converted into Cybermen is because in the synopsis it says that “Death is not an end, promises the organization known as 3W,” which leads me to believe that the Half-Face Man and others have been offered a second chance in Heaven as Cybermen, suggesting a plot twist which could in fact see Heaven is actually Hell.

Maybe heaven is actually the World Wide Web(3w) in the far future which like the church(papal mainframe) in matts era,the World Wide Web has spread from earth all across the entire universe and is now being used to save the dead into virtual realities and they’re about to be converted into Cybermen because that’s the reason why the World Wide Web of the future saves the dead,I’d also like to think that clara is the key to bringing missy and the Cybermen to earth and she’ll have to die to save earth from the Cybermen who maybe immortal since they’re dead souls and I’d also like to think missy is a future villian and maybe wants these Cybermen for something even bigger

Has everyone forgotten all the filming pics with the Gallifreyian Tombstones? And the Graveyard with a Baby Cherub and the Clara Oswin Oswald Tombstone, and the Amy/Rory Tombstone? My Theory is:

Missy is the Dream Lord, who has found it her role to find Gallifrey, seeing as the Doctor has forgotten. She has created the Promised Land to collect people who died in the Doctor’s adventures, to keep an eye on him. She can see through the people who are going to die. That’s how she knew of Capaldi’s accent at the end of Deep Breath, she saw through the Half-Face Man’s eyes, and how she knew of Clara, she’s seen Clara through all the people who have died since Time of the Doctor. She originated when the Doctor regenerated, when he thought he was dying, the Dream Lord part split from him, resulting in him having the quick regeneration, as it left his body. Missy is using the people who died in the Promised Land to bargain with the Cybermen, who are helping her find Gallifrey. I think Danny dies in “In the Forest of the Night”, as he’s in a Cyberman suit in the finale. He’s been partly-converted and escaped the Promised Land. 3W stands for 3 Worlds – Earth, the Promised Land and Gallifrey. Death is not an option, because with Missy gone from the Promised Land, the Cybermen immeditaley get the victims, so you live forever as a Cyberman. That’s my theory anyway…

I’d like to think the netherpshere is the World Wide Web in the future as in 3w,almost like the papal mainframe was the future church,3w could be future internet which collects the dead, saving them to a virtual reality and converting them so they can live forever…..but who missy is and why she wants all this to happen is something bigger

People are talking about galifrey possibly returning but this isn’t really relevant but I was wondering when gallifrey was frozen at the end of DOTD, it’s alright saying how the daleks were all destroyed in the cross fire (miracously) but what about all the daleks that were attacking the cities and were already on the planet, does that mean they were all frozen too, if that’s the case that could means that Davros is still frozen somewhere on gallifrey

Thinking about this episode, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Cybermen won’t be playing as much of a prominent role as we all think.

We all (until a couple of days ago) thought we had a 2 part Cybermen story to finish the season. We now know that the Nethersphere plot line dominates these two episodes, so are the bits of Cybermen we have seen in shooting pictures just a part of the bigger idea.

Just have a feeling it will be a little less involved than we all hope.

    Hope I am wrong.
