I have a theory in regards to the dreamlord,
i believe that since that episode all the episodes after have been an illusion in amy’s head, since that episode she has lost Rory, which was obvious in Amy’s Choice that she was torn between Rory and The Doc and subconciously she has chosen the Doctor,
she has visited Van Gogh her faviorite painter,
Met the Romans her favorite subject in school,
even the refrence to pandora’s box being her favorite book as a child,

Just a theory but would like to know what people think

    amy will not die.
    the tardis will not explode.
the doctor will not stay locked in the pandorica.

It will be so cleaver how the series ends that no one will guess it perfectly any time soon.

Yes she has, but the Doctor can still stop it in the future as it happened in the past, if that makes any sense.

basically a hero to the timelords. He gave the timelords the power of timetravel through his experiment with supa nova’s. he was thought dead after one went wrong but was lost in the intimater universe and forgotten about. This turned him against the timelords.

He is on the list of “Big Bads” that people may want to see returning

Richard one thing about Omega that you can find on the Doctor Who Wiki if you do some research is that he and Rassilon actually created the Time Lords from the Galifreyans by blowing up a giant sun using the Omega Glove.

The Doctor is simply a Galifreyan that, like most on Galifrey, went to the Time Lord Academy (was called Theta then I believe, but still not his real name), and then graduated (barely..he is in fact a near failure academically as far as Time Lords go).

In fact the blowing up of that sun by Omega and Rassilon (during which Omega was killed and ended up in an alternate universe his mind had created) is the only thing that allowed them to create the Eye of Harmony which they used to harness the time vortex and allow them to create the TARDIS’s and travel through time with them.

Even having a second heart and the regenerations is something that Rassilon gave to the Time Lords using technology. And Time Lords have but one heart until their first regeneration and then they grow their second one.

Kinda random, but I felt the need to clarify lol.

the marks outside Amy’s house look like the signs from Telos ‘Tomb of the Cybermen’. The voice saying “silence will fall” could be Omega ‘The Three Doctors’. A future or past regeneration may save The Doctor but i’m trying to figure out who River Song kills. She is obviously acquainted with Time Lord technology and has met The Doctor in his future or past, but as yet unseen. All will be revealed no doubt but it’s cool to see all his enemies back in the fray, just need them Mondasians and Ice Warriors now.

    Here’s a thought,

IMDB states that a “Time Lady” is cast in ep13; maybe it is the Rani, and Amy is somehow related to her (or manipulated by her)to trap the Doctor? Notice that Amy’s aunt was not home that night when the Doctor first met Amy. The Rani has red hair like Amy too; maybe the Rani is Amy’s “aunt”? Also remember that near the end of s01e01,the young Amy heard the sound of a Tardis a second time. Who else has a Tardis?

I don’t think that Rory could save the Doctor. The young Amy somehow saves the Doctor, because only a female can open Pandora’s box and as someone had mentioned before, it is always a companion who saves the day (if not Amy, then River Song).

an evil future regeneration (evil doctor happened b4) Doctor as stated that he destroys the universe, song kills him thats why she had her secret of killing a good man (or once good) young amy some how playing a part as someone visited her maybe in other tardis maybe new improved like time travel device in the tennant episode??

  • Richard Cariven

    June 20th, 2010 - 2:10am

and it has already been explained that song is the drs wife in the future, if song was the dr, then when she died in the library that would be the end of the dr.

  • Richard Cariven

    June 20th, 2010 - 2:08am

I doubt very much its davros he didnt want to destroy all the universe, he just wants to kill anyone not dalek. Also he doesnt know how to control a tardis that way. The most likely option is omega, the previous dr’s have faced him before. He was one of the first 3 timelords, there was omega, rassilon, and a 3rd unnamed one, who became the dr. Omega was trapped in an alternate universe of anti matter, went mad, blamed the timelords and tried to destroy them and then the whole universe. He would be powerful enough that he could manipulate all the dr’s enemies to work together against the dr.

Something everyone has forgotten, in the very first episode at the end, when the dr returns for amy it shows a young amy hearing the tardis for a second time, then it cuts to older amy running out to the tardis. There is no point trying to guess what is going to happen but I think this will be explained in the last episode, either song will find the young amy, or the tardis will rematerialise at her house.

At the end of the episode the earth was the only planet left. That may nt be beacuse of earth, it may be omega wanting to taunt the dr, punish him.

There is alos the possibility that this eisode will explain why van gough killed himself, maybe he sacrifices himself for the dr, or tries to leave a message to get amy to remember about stars.

The fact that there is a 6th series and both amy and the dr are in it shows that he gets out of this somehow.

wht do you mean tht the doctor escapes

  • Doctor Who

    June 20th, 2010 - 1:56am

The prisoner that escapes is the Doctor escaping from the pandorica

River Song is the doctor in the future?

  • guess

    June 20th, 2010 - 12:50am

the fact that its say a girl that still belives in stars must mean that humans on earth some how survied from the time of doctor been putting in the box and belive stars are a myth? so maybe the littke girl will find the doctor and free him.

i think the dude saying silince will fall is omega, because it seems stupid to bring davros back so soon, and omega at the end of his life wanted to destroy the univers

  • Mr.K

    June 20th, 2010 - 12:30am

    Right, lets clarify.

Firstly, the ‘Silence will Fall’ voice in the tardis sounds a LOT like Davros.

Next, check your facts people! Matt Smith has signed on for the Dr in Series 6! And so has Karen Gillian as Amy Pond!

The daleks say ‘Only the doctor can pilot the tardis’, whereas River Song actually knows how to fly the tardis, so she’s definitely involved!

The key is Amy.Possibly she is a fixed point in time.Someone who shouldnt be travelling with The Doctor, hence the cracks, which are caused by two points in time that should never have met, following her like a giant zipper across space/time.Her death at the hands of Auton Rory means she will never go back and live the life she should have.
Perhaps its Bad Wolf in reverse.Rose created it to ensure her arrival at a set point.Maybe Amy was created to lead The Doctor to a set point. The Pandorica
