I’m guessing that the ancient battle is the time war and his “past that’s coming back to haunt him” is John hurts doctor himself. We may see a lot of daleks as it is the time war hopefully some good action scenes from it as well ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope we get a prequel of the 8th dr regeneration into hurt

then at the end of the 50th hurts dr gets killed and we see him regenerate into the ninth and go off in the tardis

And about the nightmare child, if you watch the interesting Youtube video “the dalek that time forgot” it portrays the nightmare child as the giant mutated child of the emperor dalek, which is an interesting idea ๐Ÿ˜›

I know about the pics but the synopsis also refers to his past coming back to haunt him, which could be referring the time war as well in some way (especially regarding the pretty much confirmed identity of the hurt doctor) so I was wondering if the ancient battle refers to the time war or maybe another conflict

The episode sounds great but one thing would make it the best. Paul McGann’s regeneration.
We’ve only been waiting since 1996 for it.

That’s right, we will indeed be seeing the last great and final Time War.

The Dalek’s will be seen on Gallifrey itself, and hopefully will answer some questions us fan’s have been asking for ages, like ‘What was the Nightmare Child ?’, and ‘What exactly was the Cruciform the Master was resurrected to protect ?’.

Who knows, we might even see Davros’ command ship flying into the jaws of the Nightmare Child, or see the Cult of Skaro steal the Genesis Ark, who knows ! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yeah, I hate so called Doctor Who fan’s who moan about things so much these days, give the rest of us Doctor Who fan’s a bad name. Look at comments on YouTube on Doctor Who videos for example, and a lot of the comments is nothing but moaning.

I used to feel there was a sense of a Doctor Who fan community on YouTube, now it’s just a bunch of squabbling children who think their fan’s but clearly arn’t.
