Doctor Who: The Gunpowder Plot

The TARDIS returns to BBC ONE at Christmas, but you don’t have to wait that long for more action with the Doctor, Amy and Rory…

Hear ye! Hear ye! The new Adventure Game is released on October 31st, 2011! It’s by far the biggest and most epic Adventure Game to date. The incredible cast includes Ralf Little (The Royle Family), Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia, EastEnders), Dan Starkey (A Good Man Goes to War) and CBBC’s Chris Johnson… as well as Emilia Fox. Emilia is well-known for her roles in popular television series including Merlin and Silent Witness, and films such as the Daniel Craig movie, Flashbacks of a Fool. Emilia plays the mysterious ’14th plotter’ in The Gunpowder Plot and stars alongside Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Ralf Little as Guy Fawkes, Phil Daniels as the town crier, Dan Starkey and CBBC’s Chris Johnson.

A press release also reveals that as well as the Sontarans, the Rutans will be returning! Last seen in the Fourth Doctor adventure, The Horror of Fang Rock, the Rutans are a ruthless, shape-shifting species locked in a long, bitter war with the Sontarans. So, how are the two opposing species linked to one of history’s most famous conspiracies? You’ll be able to find out on 31 October when the Adventure Game will be available on this site!

Doctor Who: The Gunpowder Plot is set in 1605. Guy Fawkes and his gang are hell bent on blowing up the Houses of Parliament and the Doctor becomes embroiled in their scheme when it emerges he’s not the only alien in town… Old monsters return and new threats must be faced… By you, playing as one of the TARDIS time travellers!
