Explosive New Trailer Now LIve

Matt Smith returns as the oldest time-traveller in the universe. The Time Lord, Amy and Rory are kidnapped by their oldest foe the Daleks and forced on a seemingly impossible mission – to enter the Asylum, a planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of the deadly aliens’ kind.

They need an escape route, and fast – but with an army of mad Daleks closing in, and the Ponds’ relationship in meltdown, it is up to the Doctor to save not only their lives but his friends’ marriage. Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill co-star.

So much for every single dalek EVER, they should of said every dalek minus half of them. I would if loved to see the genesis daleks be the main ones after all we all want the old ones rather than the bronze daleks. Seems like a big dissappontment

I hope the Special Weapons Dalek actually has some scenes rather than being in the background the whole time.

Don’t they just spoil things! I like the idea of an Asylum but I bet you it’s probably going to be one of those episodes where there’s just a whole load of speech. But then again, I could be wrong…

I know!!! I used to love Remembrance Of The Daleks until my brother (when he was three, however) got scratches all over the disc and now it freezes every time the disclaimer appears at the beginning. :\

If you look at the above image showing the Doctor, Amy and Rory with the Dalek behind them, they seem to have a 1963 original and 1984 Resurrection Dalek with blue eyes when they shouldn’t, only the Time War Daleks have eyes that glow blue.

I feel theres gonna be a sense of disappointment for classic series fan’s and Dalek fan’s in general in terms of how many classic Daleks will feature, all Ive notice so far is –

    1963 original.
    ‘Evil’ Emperor Guard.
    Special Weapons Gunner Dalek.

Time War Daleks seem to dominate this story, and theres vary few Paradigms from the look of it, just the Supreme Dalek, several Drones and 1 or 2 Strategists Ive seen so far from what’s been shown online.

So much for claiming this story will feature ‘ALL of them’.

I’m sure they will use CGI for the classic Daleks, and make the screen go negative when using their guns.

    August 25th, 2012 - 9:53am

do you think they will have destroyed dalek action figures? 🙂

  • Give me a Dalek any day

    August 25th, 2012 - 9:48am

There were some good moments throughout, but all in all it was a slightly disappointing trailer.

    August 25th, 2012 - 9:46am

And the paradigm dalek eye has changed it used to be orange and yellow (from the view they would see it from in victory of the daleks) it’s now clear and more RTD era

Love this trailer!!!! Rory’s getting fired at and rolls to the floor! Can’t wait!! Also I love that they’ve used the majestic tale of a madman in a box!

  • the TARDIS

    August 25th, 2012 - 9:25am

This waiting is intolerable! It’s been best part of a year since our last regular episode! Can’t wait! I wonder… Will the “classic” Daleks have CGI firing effects, or will the crew make them do the flicky thing out of the end of the gun and film in negative?
