September 19th, 2015 - 12:20amI really wish i could make it to wherever they will audition for the next companion. I am an unknown actor and it would be an absolute dream come true.
I have had a lot of training in the performing arts and my most recent job was playing the lead character in a play called The Island based on the novel The Lord of the Flies.
Whoever gets the part is a really lucky individual and i wish them the best time.

Also am I the only one who was kinda bummed that the Doctor and Rory didn’t have an entire adventure in their own and Any was only mentioned? Is just like to see what they’d do.

Most long-running companions (Jamie, Tegan, Amy) have benefited from other companion characters coming and going (Less so in Amy’s case but Rory was on-off and River occasionally turned up too) and unfortunately the time comes when we have to say goodbye to our much-loved characters.

I know there are people that hate but everyone is entitled to their opinion. For the next companion I’d like if the Doctor had more than two companions, like Nyssa, Teagan (or is it Teegan? I forgot), and Adric.

September 18th, 2015 - 9:52amNo real surprise. They convinced her to stay one more year to help the 12th Doctor transition after there were concerns series 8 would lose some younger fans….but she is a young actress and probably needs to leave before her career goes down the toilet.
Personally, I think she was a fantastic companion (again, there are the very vocal haters that post on this site who say otherwise…but as I say, they are a minority and therefore insignificant). Also Jenna Coleman is probably the best actor the show has had in the role of a companion.
I am now excited to see how she leaves…I hope, for the strength of the show, its not another broken heart, abandoned companion and she goes out with a bang.
