Kidnapped by his oldest foe, the Doctor is forced on an impossible mission – to a place even the Daleks are too terrified to enter… the Asylum. A planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of their kind, the Doctor and the Ponds must find an escape route. Davros is the true Emperor of the Daleks thou, wither the Daleks like it or not.

August 17th, 2012 - 7:41pmMovie ones really don’t count, since they exist outside of Doctor Who continuity, thou with one exception, with Supreme Dalek from ‘Planet of the Daleks’, which originally was the gold and black Supreme Dalek from ‘Daleks – Invasion Earth 2150 A.D.’.

If we was talking pre-new who, then it would probably have to be the 70’s version, but that’s just my preference.

August 17th, 2012 - 6:18pmIt’s still disgraceful. Asylum of the Daleks will be shown in New York thanks to a BBC Worldwide ticketed event on Saturday 25th August. It is unlikely that the UK will be able to view this episode until after this. Doctor Who is funded, mainly, by UK licence payers. If you are unhappy that the episode is being shown out of the UK before being shown in the UK please register your complaint by calling the BBC – 03703500700 – I have just spoke to them and the BBC … didn’t know!!!

August 17th, 2012 - 5:49pmIt has to be the 25th as it is being shown in New York on this date. BBC shows cannot be shown abroad before they are shown in the UK as it is the UK licence fee payer that pays for production.
