The second half of the series sees explosive new adventures… plus a few old enemies! BBC America has also confirmed a start date of 27th August in the USA so we can assume it may possibly be the same here (but not guaranteed at this stage).

July 26th, 2011 - 10:38amThat trailer was amazing. Why did Amy look so old when she took that strange mask off? Was the Doctor looking at his death or was it Madame Kovarian? And i think Gareth Roberts went too for with the Doctor and Craig about to kiss. It’s turning into Torchwood!Except the Weeping Angels are back! Woo-hoo! But Moffat’s trying to confuse us with the whole River Song thing. But the rumours about River being Madame Kovarian is stupid. She would be kidnapping herself! The Cybermen are getting a bit annoying now. They appear in ‘The Pandorica Opens’ with that pointless head-thing, then in the mid-season finale for about 2 minutes and now a full episode. That Churchill doesn’t look like Ian MacNiece. And Kovarian is just someone to freak you out now and again. When they announced that Matt Smith’s in DW next year, what’s the point in the Doctor saying “I’m going to die!”? Later!

Also, perhaps it is a possible that the Minotaur creature is a redesign of the Nimon (or related to the Nimon in some way). In the ep. 11 preview it looks as though it is wearing the loincloth that the Nimon wore in ‘The Horns of Nimon’ Just a long shot of course.
