My guesswork for the entire series is that at some point Paul McGann will return.

I really felt sorry for Pearl after the One Show! On the show itself it was kind of her way of introducing herself to the Whovians and as you say, the press went mental and spoilt it for her! I think she did fine. Especially as she was sitting next to Anti Who herself Fern britton.
As for Kris Marshall, I’m still on the fence! But i was undecided about Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi as well and they turned out to be incredible. Especially Capaldi!

I’m fine with Kris Marshall. Even those already writing him off should give him a fighting chance..if it is him. Plus, I really wish (and it’s impossible) fans didn’t go on social media and be so negative. As in recent days we have had the press using it to make us fans all look like moaning know it all’s to the general public. Not only have the media used negative reactions from fans to Kris Marshall, but also when Pearl Mackie was one the ‘One Show’ and was asked what makes the Tardis fly, the media used the social media to say ‘fans furious with new companion getting it wrong’. Now I’m sure some negative comments are just taken the wrong way. But the media jump on it, and seem to interpret it as a fandom collective reaction. Which it certainly isn’t.

Agreed! When the leak of John Simm got out then the BBC confirmed it pretty soon. So if it’s true we can probably expect an X Factor final of an announcement anytime soon! What do you think of Kris Marshall if the roumers are true?

If Kris Marshall is the next Doctor, and it is being heavily rumoured that he is. Then surely the BBC will have to confirm or deny these rumours soon. Otherwise it will pick up momentum, and could all be fake news anyway. That wouldn’t be helpful.

This is 100% true and we will see 2 doctors versus 2 masters

Ive seen the image of “Kris” in the Tardis, 100% photpshopped.

In the Forest of the night was just an abysmal mess and the point at which I felt Doctor Who could never recover. I’d rather watch Love and monsters on a continual loop, heck I’d rather have dinner with the Absorbaloff than watch In the forest of the night again

Take that not just with a pinch, but with a bucket of salt. The Sun always make things up, the picture is easily photoshopped and he has been one of the bookies’ favourites for quite a while due to him having recently left another popular BBC show.
It’s just clickbait, plain and simple.

Dr RevWho, you get the bad rep for giving us the Beatles in the first place lol. More overrated than Moffat and that’s saying something.

You have my vote Tom, could not be any worse than the current showrunner.

If the rumours of john Simm’s master inside the mysterious vault then I will be the next writer for dr who as I have already written a script where the daleks open a vault and the Doctor witnesses the master trapped inside. The amount of ideas I’ve created and have been put into the show, I might as well just run dr who, lol.

Yes it is a great story, hopefully this TV episode will be just as good!

It is definitely photoshopped. His face looks very unnatural and I can see some lighter outline around his body. It also doesn’t look like that is his hand. Don’t worry the sun haven’t spoiled this too… yet

Its weird though, they have a photo of Kris in the tardis. How would they have got that if he isnt the next doctor?

This has got to be a better story from Frank Cottrell Boyce. ‘In the Forest of the Night’ was terrible, one of a few stories from series 8 that could be regarded as poor. I’ve always found episodes in series 8 either really poor, or utterly brilliant, with not much in between. Series 9 was an improvement. So I’m hoping Series 10 will be better still. The ‘Smile’ episode looks promising. Something better from Cottrell Boyce this time I hope. Hopefully this time I come away from the episode smiling, instead of embarrassed by ‘In the Forest of the Night Garden’!

Don’t take it seriously. Kelvin McKenzie will some how blame it on the people of Liverpool

I just listened to it there and I understand where you’re coming from with the similarities. It’s a very good story too plenty of twists to keep me on edge until the end
