What Did You Think of The Bells of Saint John?

What Did You Think of The Bells of Saint John?

The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere. Humanity lives in a wifi soup.

But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them.

As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.

Now that the 1st episode of series 7b has aired in the UK what did you think?, was it the best episode ever or just average.

I’m not trying to be rude, but I found a mistake. When the Doctor comes out with the Anti-Grav motorbike, he didn’t close the TARDIS doors and they remained open, but a moment later when the man took a picture of the woman in front of the TARDIS, the doors were closed.

I think the leaf-being-page-one thing is a very important clue for the mystery of Clara Oswald, any theories?

P.S. I forgot to mention, I’m new here, as in commenting, I’ve followed this site for a long time now.

I agree, I think it put set pieces above the story. I hope the series picks up soon.

I liked it a little bit, however the airplane scene could’ve lasted a little longer, and the doctor only confronted the enemy for a few minutes. hopefully the next episode will have a good storyline πŸ™‚

This episode was really bad. Full of plot holes and the way the doctor acted was really annoying. Oh, how I miss 9 and 10.

This episode didn’t do much for me. The story was very average and it didn’t progress the characters very much at all. Mat and Jenna were great and did their best with what they had but the episode lacked in substance.

Who else wondered who ‘the woman in the shop’ was? How did she know about the Doctor. It must’ve been someone who knew the TARDIS number. She might be a descendent of Winston Churchill, as he knew the TARDIS number.
