What Would You Like For The 50th Anniversary

What Would You Like To See For The 50th Anniversary

With the days and months ticking away to the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who what would you like to see happen to celebrate this momentous occasion.

A multi Doctor Story? Past Doctors and Companions playing other parts? anything as long as it involves Paul McGann or Doctor Who street parties perhaps?

Yea I think that could work they could use silence in the library episode continuation. Donna and tennant’s doctor would be there along with River. The 11 doctor could return to save her and after he done realise that fixed points can be change and goes and save Clara in the exploding asylum. He could then save Rory and Amy this way past characters r back. The doctor is become obsessed now with changing things to suit him and torchwood have to u intervene and call upon old companions etc to get through to doctor and eventually things are reset to normally and the doctor is ashamed “fall of the eleventh” and mourning all the losses again tells Donna how to do the mind wipe in him as she is half timelord. This blank slate doctor could somehow tie to oswins “remember me” lines. Or it could be that oswin isn’t real and merely created by a broken doctor who is still in the tardis mourning Amy and Rory.

Aaahh to many ideas now lol I have to stop time now lol

I’m aware it may be a cliche thought, but we need past doctors in it, and we NEED McGann. Despite all of the audio stories, he has never been properly showed off since 1996 and I can imgaine some interesting banter between him and Eccleston, who also NEEDS to be in it. I hope Tom Baker and Sylvester McCoy agree to have a role too, they (alongside Pertwee) are my favourite classic Doctors.

Past doctors is a must. I am sure they could easily write a story explaining how the past Doctors have aged. Tom Baker should return, its the only chance we would get to see him back on screen.
Perhaps a few stories with past Doctors then the final story they all meet up.

Episode 1: The Silence Rise. The Silents (Species) confront the Doctor and take him to the hall of Trenzalore, his companion forced to stay behind. The headless monks guard the area. The Silence blame the Doctor for the fall. They all then open their “mouths”. While they are occupied, he runs back to the TARDIS. He finds a time portal opening as he unlocks the TARDIS and some past doctor item comes through.
Episode 2: Bigger on The Inside. Malfunctioning TARDIS, hallucinations of past companions or enemies, doors leading to various places in history and meetings with past doctors, in the end turns out to be Master (from afar) and he does the creepy transparent thing.
Episode 3: The On Gone Storm. TARDIS (not fixed) is brought to Trenzalore again and flies into the time portal, thrown into alternate universe where The Doctor didn’t exist and absolutely everything that was ever going to go wrong with the universe did. He escapes back through the portal. He wonders who would have sent him there. He then finds Oswin Oswald (Series 7b was ganger or robot or relative or something), who has been given back her human form but her mind has been hijacked and turned Dalek. She walks up a hill, and reveals a Dalek army behind it, then yells out Exterminate, which is soon repeated by all the Daleks.
Episode 4: In a Heartbeat. The Doctor runs to the TARDIS, but inside finds only empty corridors. Eventually he hears a voice, and goes towards it. He doesn’t see anyone, but hears drumming, soon after turning around to see the Master tapping on the wall. The Doctor realizes the Master was the one who had created the portal and hijacked the TARDIS. The Master replies by snapping his fingers, disappearing, and sending the Doctor to the control room. The TARDIS pilots itself back to Trenzalore, where the headless monks are preventing any attempts at escape. A recorder falls through the portal. The Doctor glances at it, looking back to see a scarf fall through, and shortly after a piece of celery and a Banana. The TARDIS falls through then flies up high into the air. Mid-flight, another one comes out, and after that a third, and so on. People begin falling out of them. One stands up, revealed to be the First Doctor (Color shot of his face can be edited on to a guy wearing a costume). The Second Doctor (same thing) is next to him. The Third (again), forth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth (I will not repeat myself). The first starts regenerating, as do the others in the order they fell.
Episode 5: In Plain Sight. All the Doctors fall down. 1 regenerated to a completely different version of 2, same with 2 to 3, and 8 to 9. Most others regenerate with increased age. The 11th is shocked, but cannot afford to wait. He turns to the TARDIS, but it dematerializes. The Daleks hover over the Doctors. The headless monks pull out their weapons, and the Silents widen their mouths. The TARDIS appears again, and the master steps out laughing madly. The Silents surround the Doctor. The Doctors all suddenly stand up and release their regeneration energy to the same place, then collapse again. The Master walks towards it, and absorbs all of the regeneration energy. He says that they didn’t shoot out all of the energy, but had given him enough to regenerate one more time, properly, and to make 11 the last Doctor. The new set of Doctors are extremely weak, but all of them manage to stand up. The Master orders the Doctors into the TARDIS, and lines them up in the zero room. Here most doctors are delusional and want their companions, which the Master supplies holograms of. They stay in the room, but the Master takes the 11th to another room with a doorway in front of him. The Doctor is not very worried for a moment, and says the Master can’t do anything, until a Weeping angel appears straight in front of him from the doorway. He is suddenly very worried. The rest of the Doctors interact with their holograms quite positively, until the Sarah Jane hologram starts looping around (Use footage from old episodes for the holograms). After it is fixed, all the Doctors realize the companions aren’t real. They start to recover from their regenerations, look at each other and realize they are older than normal, and see the regenerations went differently in several cases. They find the companions are still there, and are now trying to stop them from escape. The 11th Doctor is very frightened from the angel, talking to it to try and stop it from attacking, but eventually he blinks and it tries to grab his arm, but only gets his jacket. The rest of the Doctors eventually shut down the holograms, but are quite quickly taken by the master. The weeping angel touches the 11th. All of the Doctors turn up in one room. The Master walks up to the 11th, holding a sonic weapon up to his head. The Doctor pulls it out, starting to disable the weapon, but aims it towards the other Doctors. They all pull out their screwdrivers, and quickly put them down. The Eighth Doctor pulls out a similar weapon to the Master’s, and shoots the Third Doctor. He starts regenerating, until a gunshot is heard. The 11th Doctor is seen holding it, followed by a flash of light and the screen going black
Episode 6: Into Oblivion. The Forth through Eleventh Doctors find themselves in the void. As the Doctor was a complicated space-time event, killing the third doctor has obliterated him and taken all future incarnations out of existence. The Doctors, now fully recovered from their regenerations, are quite mad at the eighth and eleventh Doctors, who say . After they argue in a Doctor-ish way, another Tenth Doctor appears with many of his companions. People randomly appear from random spaces and times in the universe, such as companions, strangers, historical figures, potential companions (who died before they got to the TARDIS), lots of Doctors, and versions of characters from parallel universes (meaning they can be played by different actors or be older). The Eleventh Doctor remembers the Dalek Reality Bomb. With no Doctor, the entire Multiverse is inside the void, and nothing ever existed save the Daleks. 8 versions of the TARDIS appear, and each incarnation of the Doctor walks into their TARDIS. They find it normal, but are then all taken to Trenzalore.
Episode 7: The First Question. The planet of Trenzalore is dragged back into existence with every version of the Doctor’s TARDIS. A future version of the Master, who already knew the Doctor’s name, comes out, and says that this is fixed beyond being broken, and that he already has heard the truth. The present Master also appears to make it fixed, and to make it fixed within the Doctor’s prior knowledge by having the other Doctors watch. Daleks are guarding everything nearby. A Silent walks up to the Doctor and reads through something, ending dramatically by asking; Doctor Who? The Doctor doesn’t answer, but walks to his TARDIS. All other Doctors follow. They shut the doors and dematerialize. They try to get back to the Void, but have trouble doing so individually. They land in the same spot, which causes all of their TARDIS’ to merge into one. They still cannot pilot it well, so mentally interface straight to the TARDIS. They get to the void, but only 11 can easily free himself. He cannot free the others at all, though they may be able to free themselves. The Forth Doctor is absorbed into the heart of the TARDIS, which also takes in the rest of the doctors. The Eleventh finds Idris inside, who is willing to let them all leave. However, the Doctors stay inside the heart of the TARDIS, only 11 leaving. The Void now contains all of reality, save for Daleks, the Master, and the Silence. The TARDIS interior has been redesigned, and is now to a degree piloting itself. Reality has been reorganized and everything is where it is meant to be (Though none of it technically exists). Back in what was once the universe, Trenzalore is seen. The Dalek ships are merely wreckage, the Silence are all dead, and the Master is dying. He is making very faint noises, but eventually they stop and his eyes close. At that moment, the universe is silent.

The cyberman need to return with a new design just like they used to as a much loved ‘who tradition’. Perhaps a reveal on how Jack finally becomes the face of Boe… Doctor’s past regenerations should make a series comeback to mark the occasion. Better writing to ensure the programme prevail’s past the 50th anniversary. And an epic movie seems like the next obvious direction the programme should take.

The doctor and his other selves and monsters are kidnapped to trenzalore, the planet of truth, where they enter the high council of the orde of the silence, like a Dalek parliament,a place full of silents, who roam the universe for deadly secrets, destroying them and there aim to destroy the deadliest in history, they ask the doctor the first question as the universe has forgotten the doctor, this causes a link in time,to the doctor’s childhood, where the silence see the terrible secrets of the past.

The silence continue searching into the past to discover the doctors true identity, coming across some terrible thing reality must not know, involving the first three time lords this causes the minds of the silence to fry and them to die,the silence has fallen, because they’ve seen the truth of time lord history(the silents are history guarders deleting terrible secrets but truths must never be told and now they have fallen)’but what truths did the silence see? Find out later on.but the doctor knows truths can damage him, this leads to regeneration

      Part 3
The doctor has regenerated on trenzalore but then he switches back to his eleventh self, the doctor keeps switching between his eleventh and 12th self due to something the silence did and the silence have fallen, the doctor goes to earth knowing the order of the silence know the truth and have gone, the doctor goes to unit to the brigadiers funeral as well as Sarah Jane,he then goes to see Luke,Clyde and rani and k9.he sends Clyde, rani and Luke to work with unit, sky maybe involved and the doctor needs help as he keeps switching between 11 and 12.

      Part 4
The doctor turns back into his eleventh self for a while, however he soon is dragged back in his own time line to totters lane and to gallifrey,to his early days, where he confronts a mystery entity, who shows him his past, present and future and showing the results of the regeneration may causes the birth of a darkness called the valeyard, the doctor must go back in time tostop the valeyard creation.or is it too late.is the valeyard the cause which made the silence fall

      Xmas
The doctor goes with river to drilling her final journey and he knows the library is next ,can he save river, maybe he can rewrite time and put river in his tardis.this causes him to use up his regeneration energy causing his 12 form to finally be permanent

What also made the silence fall is that they saw the truth of the doctor’s past and the valeyard and also the truth that the doctor is not a healer but also a mighty warrior, dangerous, who will become the valeyard ,that is also why the silence fear the doctor, because him being mighty warrior causes them to fall.

i would love the episode to be set on a spaceship, and it all starts of with river song being the captain. Then she suddenly opens her diary and evreything in it comes out of the book, all the monsters all the villans. But as she said in the time of angels she had all the doctors faces in the book then only some of them come out alive, to help the original doctor.

“Few classic monsters ( Zygon, Daleks, Cybermen *real ones, not the cybus ones* a regeneration, and a different perspective, not this *happy ending* every episode.”

With maybe a RTD like story that dosen’t try too hard to make consciuous attempts at social commentary and in which the dramatic conclusion isnt a damp squib compared to the build up; e.g a seemingly unstoppable Dalek Army simply erased out of existence by Rose Tyler interfacing with the Tardis’s temporal vortex.

have the master brought back along with a brand new dalek empire let by a golden emperor in the design of the new paradigm. but i think that the master and the doctor should work together in this episode in order to prevent the daleks from breaking the time lock around the time war. and finaly, i think the master should regenerate one last time and escape using a tardis that the daleks have created…

I want the doctors regeneration on the 50th to be totally messed up with him being evil to start with. And the companion doing his/her best to get him back to being good again.

failing that we need a few docs, want to see Ace, want to see The Rani, and want to see Adric brought back from the dead somehow, and he isn’t a happy bunny. Or how about the Black guardian back again.

“One day, I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forwards in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.” – The First Doctor to Susan, his Granddaughter, the last living Gallifreyan, other than the Doctor himself.

For this, the 50th anniversary, I feel it would be a mistake not to fulfill this by having the Doctor run into his Granddaughter, now 50 years older. (Maybe she’s forced to regenerate during the episode?) This, above all else, should be a part of the celebration.

Other things I would love to see, in no particular order:

    1) Genny’s return. (The daughter created in Series 4 Episode 6: The Doctors Daughter.)
    2) The return of John Simm as the Master!
    3) Several of the Doctors in a single episode, not unlike The Three Doctors or The Five Doctors. Specifically, I would love to see Tom Baker, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleson and David Tennant guest-star.
    4) The finding or creation of a new Timelord race. I don’t want them just around for 1 or 2 episodes. I want this to be a permanent change.

sorry to ruin your hopes and dreams but i thought you should know Eccelston has already stated he will not be returning for the 50th anniversary, he said he’s tried it once and he is not planning to ever return, although (David) Tennant and (Tom) Baker have already said they would love to return

Well, I think that for the Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary, you could do a multi-story with the Doctors in there, but I think there can be a little more to it. I mean, it is an anniversary after all! You could have an event of some sort celebrating this. The other characters (AKA Companions, etc.), being in something would also be very nice. 😀
(…Basically, anything exciting and awesome would be nice. XD lol. )

Of course though we won’t be able to hear his name because that’d destroy the main mystery of the character of the Doctor.

It’s Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary not Sherlock Holmes’. It’d be a a mix and match of shows and not celebrating Doctor Who’s 50th. I’d like to see it happen but not for the 50th. It’d be wrong to bring another fictional character like the Doctor into a situation into the anniversary. Although I agree with you about Jack Harkness coming back and maybe revealing a bit more about his past…
