I agree with most peoples opinions on the classic Daleks here, all they did was move around a bit, then blow up.
However Oswins my new favourite Dalek, all the other Daleks just stood there.
Overall this episode’s plot is worse than the ending of Miracle Day.
    EGGS,TER,MIN,ATE!

Random Question, but is the White Supreme Dalek in the Asylum the new Modifed Shiny Supreme, or is it an Victory of the Daleks model.

How the new cast names appear is just unoriginal. However i would like to see the new vortex in an episode, by that i mean not as the theme or credits.

Err, no. There will probably be more Dalek stories except this time it’ll be more interesting to see how this new twist is handled. 🙂

i agree, i assume this may be a DVD extra but to limit it to the paying USA only market at the moment seems some what unfair

but it was interesting as there is a thing like a headless monk which maybe an old enemy and plus if the headless monks know he is alive, then the silence know,as the headless monks work for the silence and there is also a scene in a dark room which looked like a tardis or time lord thing, maybe the doctor’s home or eye of harmony.so there maybe more than meets the eye

It’s been suggested that Clara is from the Victorian era, so Oswin from Asylum of the Daleks would seem to be a descendant of Clara’s, so Clara would therefore be an ancestor to Oswin and they happen to look and sound identical, even thou my original thought was they where twins, and that the Doctor would later encounter Clara and tell her that he met her twin and what happened to her, but it seems the two women are related but are not twins, just ancestor and descendant.

I walked out. I couldn’t watch. Steven Moffat has IN MY OPINION ruined my favourite tv programme and now he had ruined my favourite villain. For me, he has made a mockery of the Daleks.

ok ok but jenna was awesome so the furture can’t be that bad. The old daleks were wasted but at least they were there and ive always prefered time war daleks to the parigrim one.
ps. ace and 7 were great.

Once again, it wasn’t ONLY 6.4 million who watched it, many people (my family included) choose to watch it on BBC HD, and many will have it recorded.

We have it on series-link for BBC HD, so we are one of the many houses that donot contribute to the LIVE viewings.

6.4 million watched it live, but rest assured WAY MORE THAN 6.4 million people have seen it.

Shame that only 6.4 million people watched it. It was a good episode but Steven moffat didn’t explain where the daleks were from and the opening of the episode started as if it was part two of a cliffhanger. Plus i was suprised by how one minute we are seeing the doctor on skaro and then amy modelling with crazy hair!! It was a good episode but there where a few problems!!

    All true points

  • the astronaut of death

    September 2nd, 2012 - 4:19pm

i thing this episode was good but i dont think moffat pulled it off

when every dalek returns the ep should be brilliant and it has not that brilliant

and here i have got some bad things about this ep

    1. we did not see alot of the classic daleks

    2. i would of liked to see the special weapons dalek in action but it just standed there

3 when oswin came in it started to get confusing

    4.the daleks forgot the doctor

    5. the title squence was not good

    6. where was dalek scinetiset and enternal

    7.not every dalek was there

so iliked the episode but i think it cpuld have been much better

    oh amy cant have kids!
