Doctor Who/David Tennant NTA Wins

Doctor Who has won best Drama at this years National Television awards.

It came up against Casualty, Channel 4’s Shameless and ITV1’s The Bill. The award was collected by David Tennant, Bernard Cribbins, June Whitfield and Elisabeth Sladen. David Tennant handed the honours of the acceptance speech to Bernard Cribbins.

David Tennant has also won best Actor coming up against Philip Glenister ( Ashes to Ashes), David Jason ( A Touch of Frost) and David Threlfall (Shameless)
