Christmas Special The Husbands of River Song
It’s Christmas Day on a remote human colony and the Doctor is hiding from Christmas Carols and Comedy Antlers. But when a crashed spaceship calls upon the Doctor for help, he finds himself recruited into River Song’s squad and hurled into a fast and frantic chase across the galaxy.
King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is furious, and his giant Robot bodyguard is out of control and coming for them all! Will Nardole (Matt Lucas) survive? And when will River Song work out who the Doctor is?
All will be revealed on a starliner full of galactic super-villains and a destination the Doctor has been avoiding for a very long time.

December 21st, 2015 - 11:02amAfter the Raven episode I am now liking the 12th Doctor. I’m soooo glad that Clara is not leaving. I don’t like “Me” character at all. This series was taking a dark turn and I’m hoping that is changing. River is my favorite character along with the 11th Docor and Rory and Amy. Bringing River back for Christmas special, brilliant! I’m looking forward to the comic relief. The 12rh Doctor snapping his fingers and getting a new screwdriver..perfect!

December 13th, 2015 - 1:14pmglad to see river back,such a brilliant strong character,liked all the episodes shes been in,hopefully she will make this episode watchable.trouble is the last two doctors she encountered have been dashing young looking men,somehow cant see the chemistry between her and an old miserable fellow! what would happen if she was to meet the first or second doctors.lets have an episode where she lands in the 8th doctors time stream to mix things up a bit…merry xmas..

December 10th, 2015 - 5:00pmI’m excited to see Peter Capaldi’s Docter with River Song. She always said that “her Doctor was older” so it just makes sense. I love that Peter closed the Tardis door by snapping his fingers! 🙂
I would say that I am excited about the Christmas special, but being as I live in the US and the closest theater playing it is about 3 hours away on a Tuesday night, I don’t know if or when I’ll see it. 🙁

December 3rd, 2015 - 8:45amSeeing as the Doctor has a brand new Sonic Screwdriver [ fantastic !! 😀 ] It seems River Song might be also holding a Sonic Screwdriver too, but if it is a Sonic Screwdriver she is also holding, that it is not the same one from her debut appearance back in 2008.
Then again, it may not be a Sonic Screwdriver, it could very well a totally different device like a Sonic Lance or something which may not be Sonic technology related at all.
We’ll just have to wait and see . . . . but first . . . . Gallifrey is free this Saturday !! 😀
