November 8th, 2014 - 6:38pmIf anyone here has seen the episode in advanced, no spoilers please, but is there a big plot twist surrounding missy/master?
Doctor Stu
November 8th, 2014 - 5:17pmI feel that if missy was the woman in the shop then Clara would have recognised her by now so who was that woman.
The Moffat Paradox
November 7th, 2014 - 11:16pmJust one plot quibble I have. In the various incarnations the Master has been able to keep tabs on the Doctor without being caught in the act and successfully pull the strings prior to the big reveal.
You would think after 2000 years the Doctor would learned to see him/her coming!
Doctor Stu
November 8th, 2014 - 5:18pmYeh so that shows how good the master has been at not being caught in the act
DOCTOR WHO ONE
November 7th, 2014 - 4:40pmI don’t believe Missy the Master.
What if she’s merely a puppet ? and the one pulling the strings who’s really behind all this Promised Land business is actually . . . .
Seb – The REAL Master !!.
It was true of series 1. Your ment to think Simon Pegg’s Editor was the bad guy of ‘The Long Game’ but it was really the Mighty Jagrofess, but it seems it was the Daleks who was the real evil behind what was going on 100 years earlier in ‘The Long Game’ before the events of ‘Bad Wolf / The Parting of the Ways’ take place, since they waited for for centures and the Daleks was around during the Long Game episode, only they was unseen by Earth during the events of that episode.
SEB – THE REAL MASTER . . . . . I hope so, cos a lot of us don’t like the idea of gender swapping Time Lords . . . . BAD MOVE MOFFAT !! 😛

November 7th, 2014 - 6:27pmThat is a very good theory you’ve proposed. I think that there’s a good chance Missy is the real Master, however I do have my doubts… Moffat made it far to easy for people to guess. And she had such a quick reveal, nothing to build it up. In fact, I beat if you could ask the Doctor who he thought it was after the whole “Time lady you abandoned” speech, even he would have said The Rani. So Seb is the REAL Master, or Missy is only an anaglamation of the Master, like the Valyard is of the Doctor.
Also, it does make you think, if the Master was male though all of his regenerations, why turn female just to trick the Doctor? He wouldn’t have recognised him anyway!

November 5th, 2014 - 9:17pmBummer. I didn’t know Doctor Who is going to end. I am very sad. Is there no chance it will be revived with a different show runner?
CJ
November 5th, 2014 - 9:22pmDoctor Who isn’t going to end! Series 9 is confirmed for next year…

November 5th, 2014 - 9:26pmAnd a Christmas Special…

November 6th, 2014 - 8:58pmWhat made you think it was going to end?
The Werewolf
November 6th, 2014 - 9:50pmSeries finale doesn’t mean the show is ending. Here in the UK we call what you call a “season” a “series”.
Doctor Stu
November 4th, 2014 - 6:23pmThis is the first time I’ve taken into consideration that some young children watch doctor who but won’t these children be a little traumatised to see cybermen emerging from people’s graves if they have say lost a relative or friend
Sebatron
November 5th, 2014 - 12:14amI agree, while it is an interesting concept, I can understand fully that it will probably be terrifying for young kids

November 5th, 2014 - 10:30amIsn’t the point of doctor who to terrifie and besides if that did happen it would be no different from a zombie or vampire movie
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
November 5th, 2014 - 12:34pmI agree with Doctor Stu, the BBC have had complaints over it and it’s not a nice thought
Doctor Stu
November 5th, 2014 - 5:28pmI’m not saying it should be complained about because I’m absolutely fine with it in my opinion the more disturbing the better but is just thinking of young children who don’t quite yet understand how death works
The five doctors
November 6th, 2014 - 9:42pmCan’t see why people complain. First the kiss between Vastra and Jenny was just CPR mouth to mouth and this is just completely fictional
The Moffat Paradox
November 6th, 2014 - 10:41pmIf it’s getting darker and any way more disturbing again its just taking Who back in the Capaldi era to it’s earlier roots. What I for one have pined for.Always found it irksome calling the series from it’s earliest days a “childrens programme” when the Who universe it at it’s best and most fascinating deals with disturbing ideas and death and destruction;especially the prospect of MASS death and destruction before the Doctor saves the day.

November 4th, 2014 - 3:15pmI think it is very important gor all the fan to know what happened to doctor in this story
Cyber10Dalek
November 4th, 2014 - 10:27amThis trailer is teasing what I am hoping to be a spectacular finale! The Cybermen seem to be initiating their conquest,U.N.I.T have been tasked with containing Missy/Mistress/Master, and the Doctor and Clara can be seen in a graveyard! While I have no theories or ideas on what may happen in the finale,I have just considered horrible possibility relating to the Doctor and Clara’s presence in the graveyard.Remember how last ep Missy said all the graves of Earth were about to give birth? I think that since she means Cybermen will emerge from the graves,we could see Amy and Rory’s grave as well as Clara’s mum’s grave burst open to reveal the what were the remains of these three people now encased within Cyber suits as Cybermen! While it would explain why both the Doctor and Clara are in a graveyard,it probably be more morbid and dark than anything we have seen in series 8 thus far!

November 4th, 2014 - 5:56pmFor some reason I thought Amy and Rory’s graves were in Manhattan. Why would The Doctor go back and see them open and put himself through more pain?
The Thirteenth Doctor
November 8th, 2014 - 8:23amWell, as he is in a airplane , he could be going to america to see Amy and Rory’s graves as I know the Doctor could never forgive himself if he let them become Cybermen.
Obsie
November 8th, 2014 - 10:07amThat still doesn’t make any sense since he could easily “park” the TARDIS somewhere close to visit them. Besides why only two people , he may as well pop back and see everyone from Earth who’s ever travelled with him? Apart from that why bother putting it in the story in the first place; it’s too irrelevant to the main plot.

November 4th, 2014 - 9:22amJust a thought,in Dark Water they mention Dr Skarosa, which in the name you can clearly see Skaro the daleks home planet. So will the daleks be making an appearance in Death in Heaven? Also in a teaser trailer posted on here on July 4th shows the Doctor being exterminated down a phone and that has not been in the series yet.
Whatever happens I am sure looking to it roll on Saturday.
CJ
November 4th, 2014 - 3:49pmI thought that was a teaser trailer for Into the Dalek?
Doctor Stu
November 4th, 2014 - 6:26pmI doubt the daleks will appear as it makes more sense for missy to be working with the cybermen as they are an army and Will follow a leader where as daleks are not as suggestible as cybermen and would not work with a time lady/lord
paddy
November 5th, 2014 - 2:05pmDoctor Stu, I think you’ll find that the Master and Daleks were allies in The Pertwee story Frontier in Space
The Moffat Paradox
November 7th, 2014 - 2:39pmIn the Pertwee era he sided with (Or tried to side with or even control if he could) Autons,Axons,Kronos(The Time Monster),The Daemons and Sea Devils as well as the Daleks.Though this latest version of the Cybermen would presumably still have a Cyberleader/Planner and leadership from Missy/The Master wouldn’t be assented to unless they thought they would gain more from it.
Often the Master has had cause to have second thoughts about choice of allies and side with the Doctor against them if only for reasons of self preservation.Evil meglomaniac Gallifreyeans seem to never learn!
This finale is the first in a VERY long time in which I actually dont want to watch it knowing too much beforehand.
Gallifrey Will Rise Again
November 3rd, 2014 - 10:50pmI’d love the idea that we’ve all been fooled and the master is infact chris Addison who needs the doctors/timelord DNA to escape the nethersphere. Which could explain the awkward and yet hilarious kiss scene between missy and the doctor.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
November 4th, 2014 - 7:10amMy sister thought the same thing. Good thinking 🙂
Gallifrey Will Rise Again

November 3rd, 2014 - 8:45pmLove the trailer. Hate the trailer. I love it because it shows stuff from this weeks episode. Hate it because it is a reminder that the best series in a while is coming to an end. It’s so sad/great!
