November 8th, 2014 - 6:38pmIf anyone here has seen the episode in advanced, no spoilers please, but is there a big plot twist surrounding missy/master?
Doctor Stu
November 8th, 2014 - 5:18pmYeh so that shows how good the master has been at not being caught in the act
Doctor Stu
November 8th, 2014 - 5:17pmI feel that if missy was the woman in the shop then Clara would have recognised her by now so who was that woman.
Obsie
November 8th, 2014 - 10:07amThat still doesn’t make any sense since he could easily “park” the TARDIS somewhere close to visit them. Besides why only two people , he may as well pop back and see everyone from Earth who’s ever travelled with him? Apart from that why bother putting it in the story in the first place; it’s too irrelevant to the main plot.
The Thirteenth Doctor
November 8th, 2014 - 8:23amWell, as he is in a airplane , he could be going to america to see Amy and Rory’s graves as I know the Doctor could never forgive himself if he let them become Cybermen.
The Moffat Paradox
November 7th, 2014 - 11:16pmJust one plot quibble I have. In the various incarnations the Master has been able to keep tabs on the Doctor without being caught in the act and successfully pull the strings prior to the big reveal.
You would think after 2000 years the Doctor would learned to see him/her coming!

November 7th, 2014 - 6:27pmThat is a very good theory you’ve proposed. I think that there’s a good chance Missy is the real Master, however I do have my doubts… Moffat made it far to easy for people to guess. And she had such a quick reveal, nothing to build it up. In fact, I beat if you could ask the Doctor who he thought it was after the whole “Time lady you abandoned” speech, even he would have said The Rani. So Seb is the REAL Master, or Missy is only an anaglamation of the Master, like the Valyard is of the Doctor.
Also, it does make you think, if the Master was male though all of his regenerations, why turn female just to trick the Doctor? He wouldn’t have recognised him anyway!
Oncoming storm 2
November 7th, 2014 - 5:02pmDuring DOD when Doctor and his three selves
changed timeline Master stole TARDIS and hatched
new plot to take revenge on Doctor and Mankind.
DOCTOR WHO ONE
November 7th, 2014 - 4:40pmI don’t believe Missy the Master.
What if she’s merely a puppet ? and the one pulling the strings who’s really behind all this Promised Land business is actually . . . .
Seb – The REAL Master !!.
It was true of series 1. Your ment to think Simon Pegg’s Editor was the bad guy of ‘The Long Game’ but it was really the Mighty Jagrofess, but it seems it was the Daleks who was the real evil behind what was going on 100 years earlier in ‘The Long Game’ before the events of ‘Bad Wolf / The Parting of the Ways’ take place, since they waited for for centures and the Daleks was around during the Long Game episode, only they was unseen by Earth during the events of that episode.
SEB – THE REAL MASTER . . . . . I hope so, cos a lot of us don’t like the idea of gender swapping Time Lords . . . . BAD MOVE MOFFAT !! 😛
The Moffat Paradox
November 7th, 2014 - 2:39pmIn the Pertwee era he sided with (Or tried to side with or even control if he could) Autons,Axons,Kronos(The Time Monster),The Daemons and Sea Devils as well as the Daleks.Though this latest version of the Cybermen would presumably still have a Cyberleader/Planner and leadership from Missy/The Master wouldn’t be assented to unless they thought they would gain more from it.
Often the Master has had cause to have second thoughts about choice of allies and side with the Doctor against them if only for reasons of self preservation.Evil meglomaniac Gallifreyeans seem to never learn!
This finale is the first in a VERY long time in which I actually dont want to watch it knowing too much beforehand.
The Moffat Paradox
November 6th, 2014 - 10:41pmIf it’s getting darker and any way more disturbing again its just taking Who back in the Capaldi era to it’s earlier roots. What I for one have pined for.Always found it irksome calling the series from it’s earliest days a “childrens programme” when the Who universe it at it’s best and most fascinating deals with disturbing ideas and death and destruction;especially the prospect of MASS death and destruction before the Doctor saves the day.
The Werewolf
November 6th, 2014 - 9:50pmSeries finale doesn’t mean the show is ending. Here in the UK we call what you call a “season” a “series”.
The five doctors
November 6th, 2014 - 9:42pmCan’t see why people complain. First the kiss between Vastra and Jenny was just CPR mouth to mouth and this is just completely fictional
