So by the time the series starts, all the companions will be unhealthy and overweight.

As expected. Chibnall giving nothing away. Although after all the build up, it was all a bit flat.

Missy was a good master for me, but she didn’t feel really truly like the master for me, she didn’t have presence of being an evil person you hate, and I think the relationship between her and twelve was werid, we have John Simms master who hates the doctor and is pure evil, and then regenerates into missy, who suddenly wants to be his best friend, even though they have currently been enemies for centuries. I do think she would have played a better Rani then missy.

The visuals look excellent and the trailer itself was mehhh, left me confused as to what the point and direction was. Still not hip on this, she should have just been cast as Romana… Would have loved the fresh take on a time Lord following her adventures. What’s wrong with an original series with a female lead? Do we really need to gender swap? At least the Master regeneration into Missy made a great deal of sense being that the master is totally into disguises and messing with the doctors mind. (Albeit she would have made an excellent Rani)

I think the BBC have a very clear idea on how they want to promote series 11, both the show itself and its merchandise, and this is just the start.

I have high hopes for the new series, I’m looking forward to it more so than the last two series as I feel with the new head writer the show will be something more fresh

For me I think it works as a teaser if the show was airing in a couple of weeks. A bit like the teaser ITV trailers for I’m a celebrity or BGT where you see them and realize they’re going to be on tv soon and it builds the excitement. But after waiting all this time and the way it was hyped it’s a let down

each there own, comments across social media are mixed, good and bad but its just a teaser, that’s probably all it was ever going to be at this stage.

Really sad to see how negative people are boo boo. Personally I can’t wait. When Jodie appeared at the end, I just thought how brilliant she looked. Makes me laugh though, if this trailer had shown all the monsters in the new series they would have complained about that too! This trailer is just to show the main chararacters, that’s all. Can’t help feeling that many of the regular negative posters are not going to give the series a fair chance and will just be hypercritical no matter how the series goes.

Ones in a cafe having a fry up, ones eating pizza and Bradley Walsh is in a chip shop. I think the new Dr is hungry after her regeneration.

At first I thought it was a food ad but realised it was the trailer. Personally very disappointed and not a good offical first look at the new series.

After rewatching the clip, there a salt and pepper pots a few times and with the seaweed on the pizza and the fish behind the Beano comic, could these be easter eggs for the Daleks and Sea devils? Maybe a bit of a reach but trying to see if there are any easter eggs!

Loving the vibe to it. The cinematic feel is what I’m looking forward to.

Let’s be honest, if their attempt was to hook new audience members by showing how great and fresh this will be then they certainly will have failed. If anything that’s the kinda teaser that benefits pre-existing fans only…

It just shows the routine of The Doctor picking up some new companions and maybe a slightly more domesticated tone, with time travel hinted at visually…

I was hoping to see a glimpse of the monsters so was disappointed. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Beano comic Bradley Walsh’s character has is the same one the eleventh doctor has in the Rings of Akathen?

Sadly doesn’t tell us anything we don’t already know. A bit of a wasted opportunity really

  • Doctor Stu

Well that was….not worth the wait at all

    July 15th, 2018 - 5:03pm

    really, was that it!
She could have at least said something!
The cinematography was really good though, guess we have to wait until thursday for something actually worth our time

  • Tyler Prescott

    July 15th, 2018 - 5:01pm

    That was underwhelming.
