Doctor Stu
July 16th, 2018 - 2:22pmBill for one and just about all of their guest stars. Compare the acting of rose, Martha and Donna with Bill, Clara, Amy and Rory etc

July 16th, 2018 - 12:35pmThe one that dissapoints me the most and has right through the New Who is every Companion has been a modern day English Person What about an Alien or an Historical character or someone from the future or someone from China, Japan or Nigeria. Jack was someone different but his was only a recurring role. Yes we have had a good range of Ethnicicity but they all live in England.
in the days of Tom Baker we had a Female Alien Barbarian and a Time Lady.
The Outcast
July 16th, 2018 - 12:24pmI agree. Would have been better if this was dropped unexpectedly during half-time.

July 16th, 2018 - 11:06amThey won’t do The Master again straight after Missy & bringing back John Simm.

July 16th, 2018 - 10:21amOooh I like that!
Waterloo Curve
July 16th, 2018 - 9:34amI’m no convert to the gender swap, does not make sense.
The audience is clearly divided on the matter and it’s disappointing that those of us who are not converts to the swap are in the main, considered negative.
I love the classic series, and many facets of the new – but not this. I expect that I shall watch the new series, but as a general viewer of BBC drama, as opposed to being a Dr Who fan.

July 16th, 2018 - 9:00amI have a feeling that Bradly Walsh`s character could turn out to be the Master?

July 16th, 2018 - 5:40amIs the first photo a promotional image? It’s not in the trailer.

July 16th, 2018 - 5:38amthe ‘seaweed’ is rocket…

July 16th, 2018 - 2:04amAhh the football commentary in the background – “it’s a big occasion” “out of this world” “they’ve got the makings of a really strong team”
Looking forward to whatever SDCC brings, and I’m genuinely interested to see what publicity the series gets as we approach broadcast. Will there be more of these teasers? How many trailers will we see (and how often)?
It’s pretty much a clean slate for this series – perhaps more so than for series 5 (when the show’s continued success was much less certain). I’m excited to see this!

July 15th, 2018 - 10:43pmI honestly don’t get, why people are now saying this teaser made Jodie their favourite doctor ever.

July 15th, 2018 - 10:10pmMaybe Bradley Walsh is also the Doctor?
Or not…..

July 15th, 2018 - 9:29pmYeah, but the amount of running a who companion does makes for an excellent way to burn all those calories!
The Moffat Paradox
July 15th, 2018 - 9:18pmIf you didn’t know it was supposed to be Doctor Who it was almost a bit like an advert for Eastenders minus the Queen Vic and duff duffs.
ADAM
July 15th, 2018 - 8:51pmAnd so the downward spiral continues…

July 15th, 2018 - 8:39pmI think it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Just tease us! I liked it. I was hoping for a bit of dialogue though
Mrs Who
July 15th, 2018 - 8:22pmIs it a hint that the new series of Doctor Who is being sponsored by ‘Just Eat’.
When The Doctor Was Me
July 15th, 2018 - 8:20pmBut don’t you just love the mystery behind it all? Most company’s show far to much and you end up knowing the plot from just 1-2 trailers. Why does everyone want to know everything. Imagine how amazing the new TARDIS reveal in thr Snowman would have been has we thougjht it would just be the series 5/6 one. Some things are best left unknown until broadcast. I just feel like this show will never do right at the moment, no matter what.
Doctor Stu
July 15th, 2018 - 8:15pmI hope they’ve hired good actors this year, the last series of Doctor who with consistent good acting start to finish from all involved was Series 4 and the specials. The actors since have been dire
Doctor Stu
July 15th, 2018 - 8:03pmAt least the time for heroes trailer had the monsters teased like the cybermen, Daleks, ice queen, emoji bots, monks etc
When The Doctor Was Me
July 15th, 2018 - 7:52pmI was expecting this sort of trailer. Holding out for an SDCC trailer with footage. This is like the series 10 a time for heroes trailer. A tease for what the show looks like now. Plus whether you see negative or postive comments on it, its done it’s job. People are talking about Doctor Who again. I’m so damn hyped for series 11! Not felt like this since the Series 5 trailer!
booboo
July 15th, 2018 - 7:50pmsort of thought that, not a good advert for healthy eating!
Mrs Who
July 15th, 2018 - 7:46pmTo be honest the football was more exciting. The trailer was about as exciting as watching paint dry. I don’t think anyone watching that trailer would think “That’s worth a look when it starts”. More likely responses would be “What?…is that it?”.
