Doctor Who Unleashed is Set to land on BBC Three

Over the years, I meet so many people who were inspired to find careers in TV, because of the behind-the-scenes material the BBC would show. And now it’s back, in the grand old tradition of Doctor Who Confidential, but in a brand new form, Unleashed! So a whole new generation – and faithful fans of old – can see what the stars and the crew get up to behind the cameras.
— Russell T Davies, Doctor Who Showrunner

Moving back to the proper nuwho old days with this airing a confidentail style series after the epsiode on bbc3. Hopefully after the 60th, we ge the festive episode on xmas day and then series 14 back to Saturdays, starting in around March/ april time. Hopefully they don’t use unusable/licensed music like confidential so won’t be allowed to release the 30 min eps on home media. And also wishing for rtd do go back to 13 eps series plusa Xmas day ep.

Wanting everything right down to the format to return to the way it was just seems like a waste of time. There’s literally no reason 13 episodes is better than any other number, although I will say I’ll be pleased for the Christmas special to come back.
