Let’s Kill Hitler Prequel – Now Live

Available Now: The Prequel to Let’s Kill Hitler

The Prequel to Let’s Kill Hitler is now available exclusively from official BBC Doctor Who site.

“stand-by for something that’s different to the previous Prequels! This one bridges episodes 7 and 8 and reveals a little about how the Doctor and Amy are feeling following the events of A Good Man Goes to War.

The Prequel is written by Steven Moffat and so as you’d expect, it has humour, drama and a heart-breaking moment… Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are on great form in the short video which you can watch now.”

Does anyone else remember back in The Parting Of The Ways when The Doctor was full of bravado in front of the Dalek Emperor and then as soon as everyone was back safely aboard the TARDIS he rested his head against the door in despair. This is just like that moment. He’s like a tornado of optimism in front of his friends but when no one is looking the real Doctor slips out.

That was brilliant, that gave you such a chill to the rest of the series and the rest of the doctor and amys relationship know rivers identity has been revealed. The shots of the tardis were amazing. It was like the tardis was feeling the true emotion of Amy as it was all cold and blank [Maybe a point to Amy and doctors relationship]. It sounded like amy was putting on a false face and that bit reveling the doctor listaning in to the phone message and you could see the sadness and him felling pity to Amy and himself

Fantastico, If thats just the prequel then I’m going to wee my-self in excitment for part 2 of series 6

It wasn’t epic, but it was mysterious. I wouldn’t say it was rubbish though. This the only rubbish ever in Doctor Who: The First Doctor turning to face the camera, saying “and incidentally, a merry christmas, to all of you at home”. Very disturbing. I hope Moffat will cover this up.

Why? You guys got them a few hours ahead anyways when BBC America aired them on the same day as in the UK. We make up a strong portion of the Doctor Who fanbase.

    • booboo

      August 12th, 2011 - 9:05pm

There is concern as the BBC have yet to 100% confirm the 27th here

    • TNDNR

      August 13th, 2011 - 3:44pm

Doctor Who is only made by the BBC by a UK team, so the BBC would be at risk of breaking the terms of the liescene fee if they were to air it overseas first. The tax payers pay for Doctor Who to be made so the BBC would probably get themselves in a whole pile of trouble if the US got it first. It’s the reason why the Aussies can’t get a same day broadcast.

    • k9

      August 13th, 2011 - 4:13pm

so there you go, it is a British invention and shall hopefully be shown before the US.

    • 5ybermen

      August 13th, 2011 - 6:10pm

GRRRR! the british should get it earlier, i agree (Im british). But it dosent matter if both england and america both get it on the 27th, Ok?

    • Totty

      August 15th, 2011 - 3:08pm

They may confirm the date on the 20th because its a week before it? Or a week before a diffrent date.

    • booboo

      August 15th, 2011 - 3:15pm

they have to confirm on wed as thats when the TV mags have to go to press and scheduling is finalised

    • Joe

      August 15th, 2011 - 5:56pm

The show should be shown in the UK first (or on the same day as America) as it is a british show.
