Doctor Who has won Best Drama at at this years national television awards, Earlier Matt Smith won the best Drama performance award.

January 23rd, 2014 - 1:36pmYes of course it has. It won the Writer’s Guild Award for the best British children’s original script in 1976, it has won at the National TV Awards under Davies and Tennant. The suggestion that is has not won an award before is very silly.

Well done that man Matt Smith and of course Steven Moffatt for producing a show that enabled Matt to give such great performances. Did any of the previous actors win acting awards for their performance of the Doctor? Was the show even nominated for awards in the past?

January 22nd, 2014 - 10:09pmAt the NTAs, Doctor Who has always been nominated only losing for 2010 to 2012. However in 2011, Matt Smith became the only Doctor to ever be nominated for a BAFTA for playing the Doctor.
