I totally agree with Tardistik. Hopefully this will be the last time we see them. I think they are really clever monsters but i do also think that have been overused

Romana and Riversong. There was also a Cyber companion.

I acually disagree, yes if they were brought back they would be overused. But those were good episodes, and to new fans, these monsters are as iconic as the Cyberman, Yeti, or Daleks are they used to be. Also the crack closed so the Angels had nothing to defeat them. A mirror perhaps? Anyway if he shows them again, show the Angels that were in the timeline where there was no crack. I think Moffat ruined River abit through.

I think, by looking at the photo, she and Matt Smith will work good together as compaion and time lord. If you don’t agree please reply 🙂

This has been a great day to be a Doctor Who fan!! I liked series 5, hated 6, and was getting a bit bored of Amy and Rory. I love the look of the new companion, made up the daleks are back (I hope they open 7) and quite like the schedule, the build up will be great. Plus next year will be soooo good, soo much boss dr who 🙂

i agree he ruined them in The time of angels and flesh and stone. the empty child was great because he left it at one story.

if she got a part in titanic she must be a good actress

I know they were Moffat’s creation and Blink possibly the story that made his name but maybe the Angels should have just stopped in Wester Drumlins. Its not that I don’t think they’re a good monster its just that I think they’ve been a bit overused and its said that Amy and Rory’s last story will be with them.
    Sorry Moffat…

Apparently Steven Moffat has confirmed that it will be the series after this that includes the 50th anniversary, although how it will work is of course completely unknown.

Although there is an advantage to this type of broadcasting, we can estimate that the show will be returning about the 17th of November.

i have a great theory (well i think it is anyway):

the weeping angels will send amy and rory back in time so they sort of die but not actually, like rose did

I know that most people want the Ponds to stay with us, but I do think that big, emotional exits are far more effective than just suddenly leaving at the end of an episode. Deaths are very effective – killing off Adric actually made people care about him, and with such popular companions as the Ponds would, if done well(which it will be, being written by Moffat) could be brilliant. My only problem would be it is a story mid-way through a series, which means we are not left on it for a long time to feel sad until the Doctor returns.

Not happy. I know Moffat said that there would be no Who until autumn, but I reeeeaaally hoped that the theories about series 7 split over two years would come out false. You’ve let us down, BBC…

Look at the ‘Death’ of a character with Donna Noble: She didn’t really die it was the ‘Death’ of that personality. I wouldn’t get hung up on the ‘Death’ angle…

I thought the angels sent you back in time – to quote the Doctor..

“The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely. No mess, no fuss, they just zap you into the past and let you live to death.”

Nice thought though…suitably dark for my taste 🙂
