The Bells of Saint John: A Prequel +TV Trailer

The Bells of Saint John: A Prequel

From The Official Site

Doctor Who returns to BBC One on Easter Saturday at 6.15pm with The Bells of Saint John, but you can watch a prequel to the new episode this Saturday.

The brand new prequel is written by Steven Moffat and features the Doctor, played, of course, by Matt Smith. We join the Time Lord on Earth where he’s taking a break from his quest to find Clara.

Dr Jake Young – Agreed 🙂

Tell you the truth Jake, I don’t think a lot of us fan’s ever really refer to a classic series story buy a paticular season, we just tend to say ‘classic series story’.

It’s also a bit confusing too cos American’s say season rather then series like we do.

Sounds a bit like a combination of the 2010 and 2012 versions to me.

noticed at the end of the theme at the beginning of the prequel there is a new piece of dr who theme music. I wonder if this is a sign that we will get to here the full theme music?

everyone from now on just refer to the classic series 4 as SEASON 4 and the 2008 series as SERIES 4!

he might not go to 2013, like sebatron said, it could be 2020, or like what he did with amy and rory, about 2or3 years from now

“official 4th series” is probably reffering to the classic 4th series.

It is if ‘Official 4th Series’ is referring to Doctor Who – Series 4 and ‘Donna Noble 4th Series’ is the same thing as Donna was the companion to the 10th Doctor throughout series 4.

If you live outside the UK, it maybe that the video has been restricted in your country.

Typical I know, but it happens with most videos, thou it is odd that sometimes in the past, Ive watched videos have been restricted by the BBC for something like “This video has been restricted in your Country”, and yet I live in Great Britain where Doctor Who and the BBC both come from, it just makes no sense at all what so ever !!!!.

I just new that was Clara! Also, I’m happy to see Matt Smith’s not getting rid of the tweed just yet, I think it suits his Doctor well. Can’t wait til the episode, even though it might not be all that good…

I think this was filmed before the costume change was official? Like how in the Comic Relief ‘One Born Every Minute/Call the Midwife/Miranda/Doctor Who’ crossover he was wearing his series 6-7a costume. I just think this and that were filmed BEFORE they changed the costume.

Apparanly Matt smith’s managed to get a hollywood movie role but is still not certain about whether he is leaving dr who, but tbh I won’t believe it either way till some proffesinal conformation is given
