September 27th, 2014 - 10:33amI have one question, where did capaldi get the vortex manipulator from?
DOCTOR WHO ONE
September 25th, 2014 - 4:51pmYou what I find funny about this story ?.
Every time, from now on, whenever someone watches ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’ and hears the Head Master say to the 7th Doctor “You are here for the job as School Caretaker ?”, we will all be like “Ha Ha, he did become Coal Hill School’s Care Taker 26 years later as Peter Capaldi !!” 😀

September 24th, 2014 - 4:59pmI always avoid trailers, there’s few enough surprises left for the viewer these days as it is!

September 22nd, 2014 - 7:53pmI think he says “Oh my God your face!”. Maybe he recognises the Doctor from when he was a kid.

Ian
September 22nd, 2014 - 5:38pmLooks rubbish.
Another Clara-centric episode……yawn
Lets hope the rumours of her leaving are true.
Anonymous
September 22nd, 2014 - 6:10pmyeah I agree with you about two many episodes about Clara
but I think this one looks great
but yes I think it would be a good time for her to leave at the end of this year
Nobody in particular
September 22nd, 2014 - 6:51pmOf course it’s Clara-centric, but it’s also Doctor-centric because they are the main characters, just like in every other episode with the two of them… people complain that she didn’t get enough character development last year, and they complain that she’s getting more screen-time to develop this year! I will never understand…
the astronaut of death
September 22nd, 2014 - 7:31pmI agree with you saying about how episodes can be revolving around Clara
but I think this episode looks great
I think it would be a good time for her to leave the end of this year
the astronaut of death
September 22nd, 2014 - 7:31pmsorry I was also annonyomus
the astronaut of death
September 22nd, 2014 - 7:32pmwell they can still give her less
Anonymous
September 22nd, 2014 - 8:06pmI agree, I hope Clara leaves at the end of the series and he travels with vastra jenny and strax instead
the astronaut of death
September 22nd, 2014 - 8:33pmno I don’t think that should happen
but I think they should get there own series
martin kelly
September 26th, 2014 - 2:26pmi love clara, she is my all time favourite companion.she has done more than any other has for the doctor.she saved him in all his lives, helped him in the time war and asked the time lords to help him. give her a break.
Cyber10Dalek
September 21st, 2014 - 11:18pmAnyone else a tiny bit suspicious as to why we haven’t seen or heard of Missy or The Promised land for a few eps.Deep breath we had our first look,Into the Dalek featured Gretchen going to `Heaven` and robot of Sherwood mentioned that the robots were travelling to the promised land.Since then we have not had any references to this.I wonder what Miss is up to… they better not mess this story arc up!
CG
September 22nd, 2014 - 1:27pmI thought that too, but I think they are trying to keep the series lines flowing without interrupting them too much and I’m sure its building up to a climax in her storyline!
Doctor Stu
September 21st, 2014 - 10:21pmI was just about to comment and then realised lots of over people have already said this but the episode does look very power of 3-ish
Dalek Smith
September 21st, 2014 - 12:52pmDon’t get me wrong it looks good, but whatever happened to the whole Ian was the headteacher in Day of the Doctor? Who wouldn’t love to see Ian one more time, instead we have an entirely different bloke as headteacher, did the team just forget they did this or just put it in for the sake of it being the 50th and never mention it again and think everybody else would forget?!
Dalek Smith
September 21st, 2014 - 12:57pm*Meant Chairman of governers, because I think that he should be the one to introduce new staff
Anonymous
September 21st, 2014 - 4:58pmthe dude who played Ian is 89.They could get a lookalike though
DOCTOR WHO ONE
September 22nd, 2014 - 3:18pmAnonymous – How can you call William Russell a dude ????.
No one calls an old age pensioner a dude, a gentleman yes, but a dude, no way 😀
James Halho
September 22nd, 2014 - 3:31pmIn SJA it was said that Ian and Barbara never age. However, they said the Doctor had 507 lives, so they could be wrong about Ian. I hope he returns at his age.
Dalek Smith
September 22nd, 2014 - 4:45pmNot as a main part, but as a cameo
Beckie
September 23rd, 2014 - 9:37amChairman of the governers is a position on a board of people, they really, in most schools in the UK, do not actually spend much time in their schools. If that helps?
Dalekparadigm2
September 21st, 2014 - 12:49pmSpin off shows for doctor who
Seeing as Sarah Jane Adventures has finished and Torchwood has disappeared, I think the makers of Doctor Who should bring us:
-Coal Hill Mysteries
-Paternoster Row
Anonymous
September 22nd, 2014 - 8:10pmI also have some ideas….
The UNIT Adventures- starring Kate Stewart
Alien Hunters- starring Martha and Mickey
Also, what would be in Coal Hill Mysteries?
Oncoming Storm 2
September 26th, 2014 - 6:06pmMaybe the BBC could bring back Torchwood
and have Moffat write in Sherlock and Dr. Watson
and his wife run it. They could put Moriarty in
the Board of Governors!!!!
Dalekparadigm2
September 21st, 2014 - 12:46pmI’m hoping the writers don’t wreck this idea. If the writing’s good, this episode will be great. However, the Scarvox Blitzer might be a bit of a disappointment. We’ll have to wait and see…
TheEyebrows
September 21st, 2014 - 11:42amI have high hopes for this episode, because it looks like the power of three but good!
The Temporal Jelly Baby
September 21st, 2014 - 12:47pmIt could be good. It could be similar so School Reunion, which was very good, but if it focuses on Clara and Danny too much, or if it’s too similar to The Power of Three (simply a terrible episode), then it won’t be so good. Basically, let’s wait and see! 🙂
The Temporal Jelly Baby
September 21st, 2014 - 12:48pmTypo: ‘similar TO School Reunion’

September 21st, 2014 - 10:00amI AM THE DOCTOR…. AGAIN!
That was SMith’s tune.
doc fan
September 21st, 2014 - 11:22ami noticed that when i watched it
James Halho
September 22nd, 2014 - 3:33pmCapaldi’s theme is slower, so it’s understandable that they didnt want to use that, but there are plenty of fast paced tunes that arent from Matt Smith exclusively.
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
September 20th, 2014 - 9:34pmit looks like the power of three but for clara
the astronaut of death
September 20th, 2014 - 8:44pmI am really looking forward to this one!
The Surgeon
September 20th, 2014 - 8:39pmLooks to be kind of boring.
Gareth Roberts… Was he the person who wrote the monstrosity that was Closing Time? That could have been Phil Ford, in which case the hideous Into the Dalek also has an explanation.
Did anyone else think the Skovox Blitzer’s voice sounded really weird?
DOCTOR WHO ONE
September 21st, 2014 - 8:04amYes Gareth wrote that episode, he wrote the episode ‘Planet of the Dead’ and ‘The Unicorn and the Wasp’ which I thought was a really good pair of episodes even if I didn’t like his other episodes being –
The Shakespeare Code
The Lodger
Closing Time
The Caretaker should be a good one thou, and I get the feeling it’s going to remind us a lot of ‘School Reunion’ and ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’.
WFK DVD Collector 14
September 13th, 2014 - 7:39pmI really hope that Clara & Danny arn’t going to become the 2nd Amy & Rory. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind Amy & Rory, but if the characters did go in this direction, then I think the writers were just being very lazy, and just trying to please the fan girls watching…
Also, don’t understand why The Doctor and Danny meeting is worse then the end of humanity.
RORY DOCTOR RIVER POND
September 20th, 2014 - 8:36pmI agree, Danny and Clara should be different.
Dalekparadigm2
September 20th, 2014 - 9:04pmI hate to say it but Moffat has a track record for ripping himself off. I do however have a tiny bit of hope. Fingers crossed that it’s a different plot line…
starshipalaska
September 21st, 2014 - 10:36amI’m confident it is going to go in a different direction. Clara and Danny really aren’t the comically married couple that Amy and Rory were, and simply in terms of personality, Danny has been said to take a much angrier stance against the Doctor and his hi-jinks than Rory, who just put up with the Doctor making fun of him.
Oncoming Storm 2
September 13th, 2014 - 4:35pmYeah boy!!! Instead of the Ponds,meet the Pinks!!!?
Geronimo!!!!
Oncoming Stom2
September 16th, 2014 - 6:02pmAlternate story line: Pink sees Tardis,since he is
a soldier, He and Clara knock Capaldi over the
head kick out Capaldi and deliver TARDIS to
UNIT. This works because Clara can now
pilot machine herself and she is soooooooooo
In love with Pink and will do anything he tells
her including betraying Doctor. After all,
He is weak old geezer what can he do?
Hmmmmmmmm?

September 12th, 2014 - 1:22amMore of coalhill school again,it become a regular festure once again.
76 Totters Lane
September 20th, 2014 - 11:17pmIt wasn’t really a regular feature to begin with though, was it? It only appeared in the first episode and then again in ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’. This is the first time it’s shown up more than once in a short space of time.
thedaleksdeath
September 22nd, 2014 - 9:59amIt also appeared in ‘Attack of the Cybermen’.
