I really like this cover – I’ve sent my mum out to buy this just for the cover. And the Doctor Who stuff inside, but also the cover.

Its a shame – I really like Confidential. Maybe if it isn’t shown they will release it as a special bonus feature on the DVD next year…

I like the way Steven Moffat plays on old Christmas stories. I think they are honeslty better than the RTD ones. A Christmas Carol was definitely the Christmassiest (is that a word?) so far.

Look at this – http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/tv/3965918/Doctor-Who-Christmas-Confidential-special-canned.html – There was going to be a Christmas Episode of Doctor Who Confidential, and it’s already been filmed, but it’s not being shown! How annoying is that!!!

i think it is quite good to have them based on Christmas stories because that what’s makes the christmasy when most other specials are only on Christmas day nothing really to do with Christmas.

Who thinks that the monster for this years Christmas special will be hidden until the actual episode, and who thinks they will tell us before? I reckon they might give us a little clip, but won’t make it entirely obvious, as to maintain the ‘joy’ of secrecy.

So what if his hair is greasy? Does that determine that the entire programme will be a fail? And anyway, it could just be the lighting! And how can you tell the little boy is ‘weird and just ruins the whole thing’ ? And anyway, Glasses are cool.

Dissapointing, the Doctor’s hair is too greasy, the little kid with the glasses is wierd and just ruins the whole thing. πŸ™ Ughh

I enjoyed a Christmas Charol aswell !! It was much much better than I had though it could have been !

See, they did a Muppets Christmas charol, they could very well make a Dr Who Christmas Charol work !! πŸ˜€

Really? I thought last years Christmas ep was quite clever and original! I suppose it depends on what sort of theme you like though, moral or monsters! Didn’t really see any monsters on the Christmas trailer…!

Well I think it’s great that we get well known Christmas stories with a Doctor Who twist thrown into them because it just makes it more Christmassy. Let’s be fair, The Runaway Bride and The End of Time didn’t have that festive cheer to them. They were good but I think A Christmas Carol was really Christmassy, and that’s what you want on Xmas!

yeah but stephen would have to work really hard to write this because the lion the witch and the wardrobe is completely different to doctor who so moffat finds a clever way to interpret doctor who and twist it so its similar to the story but then again completely different if you no what i mean

I doubt this years Christmas Special will be good really, being based on an all too familiar story [ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ] just like last year with A Christmas Carol. Seems that Moffat just can’t come up with anything original at Christmas time, just chooses any old well known story and throws Doctor Who right into it. Thank god Russell T.Davies never did that.
