As it starts on 19th September the 2016 annual will be released around that time so their won’t be much or any of series 9 in the 2016 annual?

If you’d like to analyse this trailer or just give your reactions for my fanzine (Gallifrey Fanzine), I’d be very grateful. You can submit content here: http://gallifreyfanzine.weebly.com/contact.html

Maise Williams could be playing anyone she might even be just a generic character that might not be as significant as the trailer suggests just like the death in heaven trailer where Clara says that Clara Oswald has never existed and everybody got hyped only to find out it was just a lie she was telling to try and fool the Cybermen

I’m pretty sure that’s already a title in the classic series.

No that screen shot is from a Toby Whitehouse episode ?

  • DOCTOR WHO ONE

That woman in the very top picture looks some what like Maisie Williams, much much older.

Be interesting if it turned out they are playing the same character. The woman called be ‘The Woman who died’, and Maisie could be ‘The girl who lived’.

    Time will tell . . . . always does 🙂

I thought that too . . . . but Weeping Angel’s don’t move when their being seen. It’s just someone else in mud.

Those hands coming out of the ground could be a weeping angel.

Actually The Girl Who Died is episode 5 while The Woman Who Lived is episode 6

CJ, I can see your point but at the end of The Doctor’s Daughter, she does revive and breathe out Time Lord energy. Although The Doctor described her as an “echo” of them and little else, it’s still feasible that things can be rewritten, after all we know what Moffat is like.

    Possible theory for Episodes 4 & 5

So, episode four: The Girl Who Died – The girl in this one is Maisie Williams? So, she dies… at the end, due to these robots, but in episode 5 The Woman Who Lived, it turns out that she’s not dead, hence the bit at the end of the trailer…?

  • CJ

    July 11th, 2015 - 1:11pm

You have a point there… But it has to be someone!

  • the astronaut of death

    July 11th, 2015 - 1:05pm

Guys we have to remember the Doctor has seen this face before…… So if it is Susan or jenny then how does he know it is them? as he has not seen these characters since there last episodes ……

  • CJ

    July 11th, 2015 - 1:01pm

I’m sorry but I can’t see Maisie Williams being Jenny (The Doctor’s Daughter). I think she could be Susan or someone else… I can see why people are saying she might be Jenny but I thought Jenny couldn’t regenerate???

It might be a krafayis skeleton

  • theredcreepertrc

    July 11th, 2015 - 10:33am

I agree! I’ve been arguing with people on YouTube about this! xD Seriously, everyone thinks it’s Susan, which is beyond unlikely, whereas Jenny fits the bill! She calls him “old man” for god’s sake!

You’re right. adding to that the city eerily similar to that of the Daleks on Skaro way back when, it seems that in series 9 the new Daleks will journey to their origin; not just Skaro, but Skaro during the Thaal extermination. I am beyond thrilled! 😀

It looks nothing like the Krafayis!

I had a closer look at that Classic Dalek, and its not from the 70’s, its actually from the 60’s if you take a more closer look at it.
