And an interview with Gordon Brown including a quickfire round of questions about topics such as Doctor Who:
Hamlet, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet?
“Hamlet [with David Tennant]. I saw it recently.”
John Pertwee, Tom Baker, David Tennant or Matt Smith?
“I think you know what I’m going to say here. Yes. David Tennant is the best.”

April 14th, 2010 - 8:31pm… So the Dalek game should be pretty lame, right? I mean nothing on Earth can kill a Dalek (well, unless the Doctor is on Earth), so the game would just be a Dalek going around destroying everything. Which sounds fun for a while, but….

So all the tv listings books showing stills of the multi coloured Daleks with Matt Smith and obviously taken from the epiosde is all one big joke then… Think not. Interviews, pictures from the episode all point to the FACT that the Daleks are being made into a multi coloured hash up…

April 14th, 2010 - 7:44pm9. There are not only army-coloured Daleks, but multi-coloured Daleks too.
the multi-coloured ones are refering to the union jack coloured one which is supposedly appearing in the episode.
the 1st doctor
April 14th, 2010 - 7:41pmI like the ‘Power Ranger’ Daleks
the 1st doctor
April 14th, 2010 - 6:41pmDigital Spy’s ten teasers for the episode:
1. Some time has elapsed between episodes.
2. The ‘Daleks’ are known as ‘Ironsides’ and were apparently the invention of Professor Edwin Bracewell (guest star Bill Paterson).
3. The Ironsides are completely harmless beings and have the ultimate aim of helping the British, under the guidance of Winston Churchill (guest star Ian McNeice), to win the war.
4. Hailing from the 21st Century, Amy knows all about the Daleks, right? Right?!
5. Winston really wants something from The Doctor.
6. “We shall return to *** *** **** and ***** *****.”
7. Amy: “Ever fancied someone you know you shouldn’t?”
8. Star Wars.
9. There are not only army-coloured Daleks, but multi-coloured Daleks too.
10. Mmmm. Anyone fancy a Jammie Dodger?

April 14th, 2010 - 6:21pmA well, we will wait till Saturday
I have some picture here that say otherwise and i really wish i could show them to you all but i cant, not at the moment.
The pictures are from a time long before the election was called.

April 14th, 2010 - 5:56pmthe other coloured ones are just to promote the election , its like a little joke with the daleks blowing up london it sort of represents the dissilution of parliment and the general election trust me.

April 14th, 2010 - 4:50pmAs Cg says they are all definitely in the episode Red White Blue Yellow and more you haven’t seen yet.
I saw the Red White and Blue ones weeks ago, long before we knew this would coincide with an election campaign.
CG
April 14th, 2010 - 4:41pmTo JR
so how come they appear in stills from the episode in other TV listings books. Notably TV & Satelite Weekly. Also various interviews with Mark Gatiss say that the colur ones ARE in the episode.
JR
April 14th, 2010 - 4:33pm@All.
Only the white dalek will feature in the episode. These colour daleks are not to denote rank, but to denote political affiliation. Red for labour, blue for tory. It’s just an ‘election fever’ thing. The coloured daleks are photomanipulations of the white one. I’m aware that there ARE colours for daleks. But these are just special manipulations for the RT: that is all.
CG
April 14th, 2010 - 3:24pmTo evitc, Nope they are clearly seen in stills from the episode. The Daleks are full colour traveties of there former selfs.
I think the last thing on the minds of a race hell bent on domination is a gaudy colur scheme.
The gold daleks looked the part, you could really see the evil intent and brashness of that race in that design.
Moffat is intent on turning the show into the Peter Cushing movies (which are NOT canon)he is quoted as saying that is where the new outer design for the TARDIS was from.

April 14th, 2010 - 12:59pmI think everything is taking a different direction, to be honest a lot of the changes are no more radical than in 2005, I mean just look how much the Tardis console changed for the classic series. The series needs bold and fresh ideas to keep the interest alive – and its certainly doing that.
I think when we actually see these Daleks in Action a lot of people views views may change.

April 14th, 2010 - 12:52pmI think the doctor who producers are cutting down the cost of production since monsters and props look like they are getting cheaper. Does anyone else agree with me?
the doctor’s adventures
April 14th, 2010 - 12:24pmIf that is what the Daleks look like in VICTORY OF THE DALEKS they will be a remade monster like the Cybermen in Doctor Who 2006 when they came back as a remade monster the Daleks look really good on the front of the Radio Times the Broonze Daleks are good but these three look brilliant.

April 14th, 2010 - 11:07am@Joe, not quite a million but you will get a few
evitc
April 14th, 2010 - 10:54ami have done some research lol and obviously i havent found out much but apparently this new desighn will only feature on one dalek which is the white one and the others will remain the same for now. whether or not this is just to introduce them slowly to see wether the audience likes them but for now there is just the one.
Ray
April 14th, 2010 - 10:52amUnlike previous Daleks these don’t look man made, they look the real deal.
I just wish they could have held of with the big reveal until sat
Lance
April 14th, 2010 - 10:51amAll i can say if this lot had burst onto my TV screen when i was 12 i would have absolutely loved it, I think they look fabulous and so refreshing to have a complete change. Roll on Saturday
here come the drums……
April 14th, 2010 - 12:32am@Anonymous
there is a red, yellow and blue dalek.
they all represnt different sort of ranks like:

TC
April 14th, 2010 - 12:20am@ CG:
And compared to the overall ratings for that day it was still high and had an Appreciation Index of 86, which is considered excellent.

April 13th, 2010 - 11:15pmI think everyone is taking this too far. The “new” daleks are obviously re-coloured versions of the new white dalek for the election. On the link to the radio times page the red dalek cover and the white dalek pic are the same dalek (except for the colour) and it says their “showing their true colours in OUR election special”
dr what
April 13th, 2010 - 8:51pmi think they look great its brining the daleks up to date its beter than those ugly gold ones
elliestardis
April 13th, 2010 - 8:44pmi am really annoyed , i walked into a shop a few weeks ago only to find the new tardis interior on the cover which ruined the suprise and now the new daleks on this cover which has ruined it again for people who want to find out as their watching the episodes lol
mjmorgan
April 13th, 2010 - 8:22pmthey look ok but the RTD era ones were better
CG
April 13th, 2010 - 7:07pmto – here come the drums
Only when it is for the better. If it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it.
From the Eleventh Hour to the Beast Below it lost 4 million viewers (according to the figures) speaks for itself really!!!!
booboo
April 13th, 2010 - 7:03pmI saw these about 2 months ago by accident so i knew there was defiantly a red white and blue one and had suspicions about a yellow one but there is also another colour, they all defiantly appear in the episode.
I think a lot of people , understandably, thought these were a mock up for the election but there definitely not.
as for the design, it is so different it was bound to cause controversy but they look great the image of the white one I have seen.
Koquillion
April 13th, 2010 - 6:59pmOdd looking Doctor, Odd looking Daleks, Odd sounding theme tune……Oddly bloomin’ marvellous!
Last of the Timelords
April 13th, 2010 - 6:49pmOK calm down about Steven Moffat. And today I did see a TV magazine showing a picture of one red, one yellow and one white dalek. I only thought what I wrote before because on the link to the Radio Times website, they said that the covers were designed for the General Election.
booboo
April 13th, 2010 - 3:21pmyes this is them, there is a white one as well (and another colour)
derek
April 13th, 2010 - 3:12pmis that the new design for the dalek with only the dome revealed?
