Loved the new Doctor Who. Better than David Tennant even!!! However definitely do not like the new theme tune. Why mess about with it? Great assistant, best one for a long time.

What have they done to the theme ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure I like this. The past Doctors hologram was good work. Think I’ll reserve judgement on Matt until I’ve seen more of his work, as I’m looking forward to the Stone Angels and Dalek episodes.

when i watched the new doctor who episode on saturday i thought it was boring. matt smith was trying to copy david tennant and the tardis looks awful i sooner prefer the old tardis before it got blown up. also the title sequence there was no doctor who theme.
some people will be mad of what im saying but when russel t davies brought doctor who back he updated it with the doctor ,the tardis.
the best actors who played the doctor when it came back was christopher eccleston and david tennant. matt smith cant act or his companion.

I think Matt Smith had some massive shoes to fill taking over from David Tennant, and…… fair play to him, he’s got off to a phenomenal start.
I bow to you Matt and hope for your continued successes.

An amazing first episode for the new Doctor and i have to agree the part where he walks through the hologram of his past regenerations is as if to say “this is what your up against!”, personally if i wanted to invade i think i would run too!

I think this epsidoe was an amazing first episode! A lot of people will love him as the Doctor and will get used to the fact that David Tennant is gone. My favourite scence’s were the part were he was trying all the different foods and when he walked through the hologram of all the Doctors! If you have not seen this episode then watch it…. NOW!!!!

And also, I have heard that the arc is ‘Silence will fall’, the doctor said that in The Eleventh Hour.

I have also heard a rumor saying half of the series will be in Spring 2010 and the other will be in Autumn 2010, I doubt it and I don’t want it to happen

So glad the episode did well in the ratings and most people are really happy with the new show and the new doctor.
I was worried that he wasn’t going to be any good, but I was surprised. Matt Smith is going to be a fantastic Doctor, maybe even better than David Te-…. wait a second. What was his name again??

Unless the Cybermen are in episode 11 rumored to be called The Lodger, that’s with James Corden

Superb start to the new doctor. Great new intro credits, great writing – Stephen Moffat realises that the kids are meant to be watching from behind the sofa! No more of Russell T Davies’ cuddly monsters please! 🙂
Brilliant – can’t wait for the next one!
