I just had a thought regarding the classic Cyber-Head, considering it’s a battered Cyber-Head, but an earlier model, seen so soon after the tragic demise of Handles, it can be only one thing: Handles’ Great, Great, Great Grandfather!

    (only kidding, although…)

Johnny Lee Miller doesn’t play Sherlock. He is Sherlock!

it doesn’t matter if Sherlock films early next year, as they can film WHO at the same time just like they did with the 50th and Sherlock season 3

Series six had one Cyberman episode and a Dalek cameo (and all the aliens with cameos in A Good Man Goes to War). That’s fairly old monster-less, I would say, considering there was only one episode which only featured old monsters (closing time)

I highly doubt Moffat will be stepping down. Let’s not forget, Sherlock is mainly run by Mark Gatiss, and Moffat teased at his plans for Series 9 which he said would be next year.

I do agree though that Johnny Lee Miller is a better Sherlock!!

So the new series of Sherlock starts fliming early next year. So what does this mean for series 9 of new who? Does this mean that Moffet is standing down after the next series or does mean we will we have to wait until 2016 for series 9? Speaking for my self I much prefer Jonny Lee Millers take on Holmes anyway.

Well bringing back the Ice Warriors was a hit and I would like to see an updated return of what I consider to be the REAL Silurians from the original series: particularlly the Sea Devils.
Coming up with besides of late The Weeping Angels a good new Alien/Monster is always going to a case of as with the Daleks/Cybermen originally whether lightning strikes in the right place at the right time. If it does then it takes a life of it’s own.

AM I the only one who thinks they should stop using old monsters all the time? It would be nice if wo could have a season without them.

  • The Big Friendly Button

It is always nice to see my favourite monster in the series, but for some reason i have a feeling that the Dalek episode will be centred around the Time Lords possibly returning.
