Why do people say Amy and Rory died? Seriously, they didn’t… They lived on happily ever after in 1930s New York until they grew old together and then died…

WOW! I didn’t think I’d be that upset! I was holding back the tears! Capaldi’ s performance was just FANTASTIC! One small tiny winy little thing I didn’t like was that the Doctor just kinda left Clara’s body in the street! I was expecting him to kneel over and shed a tear! But apart from that tiny thing, it was fantastic!

Still not fully convinced for the reason he just left her body that she really is just dead yet because of the Impossible Girl backstory.

At the end of this episode I found myself thinking…who on Earth would really want to travel with the Doctor these days….life expectancy/quality of life has really gone down hill for them. As for the episode, very good, wondering if they’ll ever return to the events of last weeks episode, and very much looking forward to the last episodes of the series.

What do you mean “life expectancy”? The last companion to die was 30 years ago

      Katarina and Adric

      November 22nd, 2015 - 8:57am

Dunno about Katarina, but Adric’s death is not ON SCREEN in the same way as Clara’s. His last seconds are seen before the shot of the ship is shown & the others reactions. Picky I know & it’s probably down to budgets or the time slot in the 80’s, but always read the question(or statement in this case).

I should have said there was 3 of them I did for get about Katarine who came in in the story the Myth Makers and died in the Daleks Master Plan. So yes she was 1, Adric was 2 in Earthshock, He was on the ship that blow up and there was no way he could get off it and the doctor couldn’t land the tardis on it as it was moving about in time. and 3 was Sara Kingdom was a 1 off companion for the story Dalek’s Master Plan died in episode 12.

i am debating if this was the best episode of the season so far or the second best. that was amazing and I was really sad when Clara died (I was more sad when Rory and Amy died though). absolutely fantastic and I am so glad Maisie Williams was actually In a great episode she deserved it. 9.5/10 or 10/10.
brilliant. loved the memorial at the end, and next week looks awesome.

Have a strange feeling Clara not dead. Maybe she comes back only to leave on her own terms.

I was waiting on Missy making an appearance. Think ashildr made a deal with gallifrey

Good episode, but I’ve a feeling this isn’t the last well see of Clara. Also if you think about she’s had a death wish ever since Danny got killed, that’s the way it seems to me anyway.

Well, Clara’s dead until next week. A+.

Ishildur (because calling her ‘Me’ is just confusing) is supposed to be this greatly pained character, and the Doctor is being unfair on her. However, it doesn’t really work consider she just comes across as being entitled child having a temper tantrum. Rigsy is still fine, I’d say I like him. It’s nice to have a very down-to-earth character along for the ride sometimes. The Doctor mind you, he had some great monologues. Please, can we get more angry Doctor?

Good solid episode. Was to easy to predict Clara would take on the mark, but all the same still strong. I loved how despite being the end, Clara faced death with strength and dignity! She was fantastic and has become a great edition to the shows history.

Just shed a few tears, phenomanol acting from Jenna Coleman.

Now what i REALLY want to see is Ashildr get killed. Never mind Daleks, Silurians and Cybermen, she is the REAL monster!

And yet again, masie williams wooden acting. A dead tree could do better than her!

And a very nice tribute to Clara from Rigsy on the TARDIS.

Clara is reunited with her mother and Danny now.

Well, she has lived long enough. Her immortality should be stripped away and then she needs to be executed.

    BWAHAHAHAHA *struggles for breath* HAHAHAHAHA
I was in tears watching this. Not because I was crying, but because of the events that led up to Clara’s death. The reason why she died was because of stupidity. Also the Doctor wasn’t as sad with her death as he was with Amy and Rory’s death (even though they did live out their lives.) Jesus Christ I must sound like a bad person.

I had a think about it and decided that after living dangerously around Cybermen abd Daleks, she was finally killed off by a bird. Yeah a freaky spirit bird but a bird all the same.

      November 21st, 2015 - 11:35pm

Maybe the Doctor is just shocked. When you lose somebody important it sometimes doesn’t strike you immediately. Moreover, the Eleventh Doctor was way more emotional.

      November 22nd, 2015 - 9:52am

Forgot to say I was laughing not crying. But yeah, the reason why she died was because a bird pecked her. Wow so deadly.

    • Olga

      November 22nd, 2015 - 12:55pm

I agree that her death was kind of stupid, she faced so many monsters etc. but she died because of such a tiny silly thing but it happens in real life as well.

It was an ok episode, I thought there would be a bit more to it, but it was good! Clara’s exit was god, but not the best, as I think she got a rubbish last line, and THE DOCTOR SHOULD’VE RUN TO CATCH HER!It was a bit sad that she just got left there, though. Also, it wasn’t as dramatic as Amy’s exit

Goodbye Clara Oswald! My favourite companion

CLARA! Oh my god. The feels. Loved the little inclusion of Rigsy painting the tardis as a memorial for clara at the end. Fairly shocked from Clara’s send off, but we all knew she was going to die. Correct me if im wrong, but I think we see frobisher from torchwood at the end?
    But overall, a good episode!

Well. Clara’s death was a bit drawn out but it was emotional I suppose. My digi-box froze just at the point she started to silently scream so that was irritating but the rest of the episode was gripping, heartracing and exciting with an element of Harry Potter. Just Brilliant, everything I had hoped for and more.

Because Jenna Coleman has decided to leave the show and we are not allowed to have a companion just return to a normal life like what usually happened in the old days.

    • Olga

I think their relationship was too strong just to leave like that. Personally I preferred the ending of “Death in Heaven”, when she just said goodbye, thanked the Doctor, and left. Optionally, she could have stayed old in “Last Christmas.”
