DID NOT LIKE THE END OF THE PONDS,THEIR ROLE WITH THE DOCTOR WAS FANTASTIC ,AND FREEZING THEM IN TIME ALLOWING FOR A FUTURE RETURN(PERHAPS TO SAVE THE DOCTOR OR RIVER)IN THE FUTURE WOULD BE BETTER OPTION

We still havent found out what that voice was in the TARDIS at the end of series 5 when the tardis monitor screen cracked and it said ‘Silence will fall, silence will fall…’
Now before any of you comment on this saying, ‘Oh it was the Silents didn’t you know?’ because it wasnt the slients because its a different voice, and if you dont believe me, go back and have a look, OK?
I’ll expect that they’ll carry that on through to the 50th

I’m disappointed that they didn’t wrap up the whole Amy and Rory being River’s parent’s thing better. I never saw Amy and River try to get to know each other, and Rory definitely didn’t.
The end for Rory and Amy came too quickly and is too cruel. Too many plot holes as well. Didn’t like it.

It has been known that they would die in this episode since March I think.

Plot holes you could drive a truck through… but I still liked it LOL

The only thing I wish we had gotten was a little more information on the Pond’s life after they’d been sent back in time (as we did in the original weeping angels episode when Sally got the letter from Kathy)

I will miss the Ponds, I kind of had a crush on them LOL

Oh, and btw, whoever said angels couldn’t be bronze? At the end of “Blink” we saw all sorts of statues not just stone statues, implying ANY statue could be one of the ‘lonely assassins’ & NOT just the weeping angels… pay attention people!

    Yeah… I gotta get a life, I know LOL

I think because Amy was right up at it, so when she turned around the Angel’s hand didn’t really need to move as she was very close so she got zapped. It could maybe have moved so little they didn’t notice… 😆

Beautifully written and acted. Best episode of the series so far.And for maximum impact the weeping angels should NEVER EVER return because after this they’ll never be forgotten.

So, Rorys dad will forever be sat at their home waiting for them, watering plants? loose plot ends, was just an excuse to use the worst villians of all the stupid weeping angels. 2/5

It should have been a two parter. A city over-run by weeping angels, The Statue Of Liberty an angel etc… Also how could the angel zapp Amy if both River & The Doctor were looking at it?

Moffat wasn’t talking about the Doctor’s daughter, Jenny. He was talking about Jenny from AGMGTW. 🙂

We all knew the Ponds end was coming, but I didn’t expect it to come this fast 🙁 Last night’s episode was great, a perfect send off for Amy and Rory. 10 out of 10 from me, best episode of this season. I can’t wait for Christmas though, it’s time to make way for Jenna Louise Coleman…

Just learned from a new YouTube video uploaded by user ‘I just subscribe now’ called ‘The Doctor’s Daughter (Jenny) Confirmed By Moffat Returning For 50th’ that the Doctors Daughter herself, Jenny, is to return for Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary celebrations next year 😀

Can’t find no official confirmation, but Ive just taken a look on Google and a website called ‘Word Press’ talks about it, but features both Jenny the Doctors Daughter and the other Jenny from last years ‘A Good Man Goes To War’ episode, the woman with the Silurian woman.

When exactly did the angel zap them back to? Why can’t the Doctor see them in a later year (1945 perhaps?). Amy’s gravestone says she lives to the age of 87. If the angel sends her back to 1938, and I guess she’s about 25 years old already, her date of death would be in 2000!

what bugs me that amy and rory shouldnt have died because of the episode the hungry earth the doctor sees amy and rory in 2020.
