Does any one else appreciate the irony that the ‘youngest’ Doctor died of old age?
    🙂 🙁

    @TheBritishCupOfTea
That is one of the best explanations of how this ‘timey wimey’ timeline, and others like it, work out; and is also how I keep it straight in my head when watching the episodes!
    😉 🙂

Matt Smith will be missed now lets see how Peter Capaldi does as the doctor

I thought at first that clara was seeing the capaldi looking like the 11 th doctir like he was because of the hologram thing with the clothes. Then he started having hallucinations. Not the best resolution to to multiple season arcs.

    Doctor Who One:
Moffat had little part in the design of the “FATleks” or the writing of the episodes
The Split was an experiment – admittedly a failed one – but you don’t know until you try. the lack of 2 parters is a result of the split experiment
You won’t be confused if you pay attention!
That shouldn’t be titled BAD THINGS MOFFAT HAS DONE, but UNFORTUNATE EVENTS WHICH HAVE HAPPENED DURING THE MOFFAT ERA.

Yeah I remember when Matt started everyone was saying that he was to young and he would be terrible and look at him now he is a brilliant doctor

And I’m sure it will be the same situation for capaldi except for the part of people thinking he will be to young

I don’t know why so many people are complaining about having an older actor to play the doctor considering the show stated with an old actor who was brilliant and then again we had pertwee who is one of my favourite doctors I think people need to give capaldi a chance I think he’ll be brilliant

What did people think of the 11th doctors final words

“I will always remember when the doctor was me”

Technically Doctor Who One, Peter Capaldi is the Twelfth Doctor as John Hurts Doctor only called himself the war doctor not the 9th so I see it like this…

William Hartnell: 1st Doctor (1st Body)
Patrick Troughton: 2nd Doctor (2nd Body)
Jon Pertwee: 3rd Doctor (3rd Body)
Tom Baker: 4th Doctor (4th Body)
Peter Davison: 5th Doctor (5th Body)
Colin Baker: 6th Doctor (6th Body)
Sylvester McCoy: 7th Doctor (7th Body)
Paul McGann: 8th Doctor (8th Body)
John Hurt: War Doctor (9th Body)
Christopher Eccleston: 9th Doctor (10th Body)
    David Tennant V.1: 10th Doctor (11th Body)
    David Tennant V.2: 10th Doctor (12th Body)
Matt Smith: 11th Doctor (13th Body)
Peter Capaldi: 12th Doctor (14th Body)

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:41pm

I thought it was perfect 🙂

seriously, the Doctor defending a town on a planet for hundreds of years like the local sheriff, didn’t see that coming 😮

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:39pm

you guys are right Moffat is a genius

we Doctor Who fans are a varied bunch, there are always going to be haters for everything

the FATleks, by all means hate on them

David Tennant as the Doctor, by all means throw up at the memory of it

but Moffat? are you kidding me? the guy is a genius, as JJ said, and he was a fan since he was in primary school

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:35pm

I reckon he had took it down from the Tardis shelves just recently

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:34pm

is twelfth night a familiar expression? everyone keeps saying they should call it twelfth night?

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:23pm

not a bad theory but the story explained otherwise

  • crazy guy

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:21pm

right but the way you said it i thought you meant nobody else wanted the job. lol i apologize for my misunderstanding.

  • McGann is the Doctor

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:20pm

    the kidney line was silly

but the Doctor always behaves immature at the beginning of a new incarnation

anonymous: the Tardis was changed because the 2010 set could not be moved from the old building to the new one

it is also an improvement because it looks like a real high working Time machine instead of a cosy little “wizards cupboard” as Moffat says

can you imagine “Journey to the Centre of the Tardis” with the 2010 room? there would be no tension! 😆

It was a good episode the down side no good last words and i dont like capaldi

  • Jamie

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:11pm

Im glad his last words weren’t Geronimo that would have been very predictable and disappointing. And personally I like the newer TARDIS console room more than the previous one.

  • the council

    December 27th, 2013 - 4:08pm

Yes i think that to because all of the regen energy was used on the top of the tower so he dident have enough to do afull blown one

    December 27th, 2013 - 3:52pm

Maybe just stick to the explanation given in the episode.

I see where you coming from but no he is the 12th doctor

  • Anonymous

    December 27th, 2013 - 3:41pm

They were 4 key things that got me annoyed with Steven Moffat, he shouldn’t of changed the TARDIS in the Snowmen, it should of sayed the same since 2010 and He shouldn’t of changed his clothes because it was better in his tweed jacket and everything also the series 6 and 7 splits, it was stupid and also what really made me annoyed is that Matt Smiths final words weren’t Geronimo!
