A Very Evil Dalek With Some Fans (spoilers!)

A Very Evil Dalek With Some Fans

The Daleks are being wheeled before the cameras once again. But which design? The answer is ALL OF THEM! – even this one! Does that mean the 1960’s emperor is hiding out of site?

Red herring, April fool or major story line – Who Knows!

Remembrance of the Daleks is a 1988 Ben Aronavitch story featuring Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred as the 7th Doctor and Ace. The two Dalek factions are the Renegade Daleks [ grey and black, lead by a black and silver Supreme Dalek ]and the Imperial Daleks [ white and gold, and lead by Davros as their Emperor in a similar casing but with a BBQ flip top feature built around his head, and also they had the Special Weapons Gunner Dalek ]. Both factions where fighting over the Hand of Omega, a Time Lord device. Davros got tricked into using it to destroy Skaro, and it saw the end of the Renegade and Imperial Daleks in the story, except for Davros, who escaped once again.

    hi guys
my theory who remembers rememberance of the daleks 7th doctor times. soz cant remember the names of the daleks. thats the white daleks went to war with grey daleks but the white daleks lost the first round then they bought out special weapon dalek what if they fount away back to bring the special weapon dalek back beacuse its firepower its more stronger then the paradighm daleks
also diffrent colour daleks have diffrent davros so there would at least be 4 or 5 davros and then that would go all timey wimey
    so thats my theory

Where did you hear about Matt being in the 2013 Christmas special?

First RTD Daleks, then 60’s Daleks, now Genesis Daleks! I have really high hopes for the Daleks in Series 7.

Caroline Skinner has tweeted a new picture of yet another Genesis Dalek (this one coming from former head writer Russell T Davies).

They really seem to be building these ones up, that’s two (possibly three) that we know of of just this model.

Well we know Matt Smith will be in the 2013 Christmas Special after the anniversary, so the story isn’t true.

Might still happen, but not for a while yet.

haha, LOL, anyone else see a bronze dalek under Karen’s left arm? 😀

If they don’t have Daleks in that I will be angry. The 50th anniversary should be a Dalek story, with multiple Doctors.

I do like Moffat and I don’t mind the arcs, but The Wedding of River Song needed more time to wrap things up in my opinion. An extra 10 minutes like The Big Bang would have been nice. Oh well, we look ahead to the future now and to the exciting return of the Daleks, a new companion and, of course, the 50th Anniversary.

this is my theyory all the old dakleks were going to go to war with the 2010 daleks and then the old daleks relised they were not strong enougth to defeat the new daleks so then they

    i have got 2 sollusions

1.they joing forces with the doctor because they know he is very strong and he could defeat the new daleks and then they win and then turn on the doctor and try to kill him

    2. all the old daleks join together to make a giant dalek

I found that funny actually. If Gatiss has actually bothered looking back at Journey’s end, he would realise that the Daleks were all killed as their power cells were overloaded. It is IMPOSSIBLE that any Daleks could have survived, they were all overloaded. If SM carries on this stupid tradition of bringing them back from the dead he is stupid. Whilst I am glad to see the old Daleks returning, it is a bit counter productive as the idea of making new props when DW came back was to bulk them up and make them look more realistic as machines. But nonetheless, a return of the classics is something I’ve wanted since I was real young, so I’m all for it. SM has given me nearly everything I could have wanted from DW. The old style Tardis exterior,a glimpse of other rooms in the Tardis, more than one companion, a totally alien doctor, and now this. I just find it a shame that his style of writing can be a bit tedious and complicated sometimes, because otherwise it would be absolutely perfect for me.

No Dalek could possibly destroy Rory though.

The Old Daleks enlist the Doctor’s help as they join forces to defeat the Paradigm Daleks. Although, they soon betray the Doctor’s trust and attack Rory!

this will be a triumphant return for the daleks. this will defantly make up for the 2011 absence(yes I know they made a cameo) but this is a proper aperance. all hale the daleks

Yes, I’ll agree with you there. If long gone enemies come back then
we need a better explanation than *shudder* “One ship survived.”
That’s only happened once in Moffat’s reign though.

  • The 14th Doctor

    April 3rd, 2012 - 5:30pm

Yeah, well I think everyone agrees that some Daleks are stored away in a Tomb. I would be annoyed if it was the Time War daleks who survived in this way though, coz it’s getting stupid how they are meant to be extinct but have once again found a way back. SM invented the new things to STOP that, so if it is like that then he is being counter productive.

  • Give me a Dalek any day

    April 3rd, 2012 - 5:25pm

Well, like I said in my theory, maybe the Daleks stored themselves in the tomb/base to build armies when necessary. Perhaps in the early days of the Time War, a couple of RTD Daleks temporal shifted to the base to store themselves for future needs.

Cheers guys :! I would love to write one day, especially if it was DW. Looking back, I can already see a slight issue with my theory, being that the RTD Daleks from the photos are seemingly buried and neglected as well, but I’d be willing to bet that the bit about the Paradigm’s mining for old daleks is correct.

  • The 14th Doctor

    April 3rd, 2012 - 3:55pm

The Doctor lands on a snowy planet, where he discovers the Paradigm Dalek’s are mining through the crust of the planet (ring any bells) in order to reach a tomb of ancient Daleks (60′s and 70′s most likely.) They are doing this in order to obtain Daleks which do two things. Give them information and secrets about the Dalek past and act as their slaves (as the Paradigm Daleks are pure, it is logical that the classics would obey them.) The Doctor is worried that the old Daleks will reveal something that he does not want revealed like how to revive Davros or prevent the Doctor from altering their creation. In order to ensure that they do not do this, he travels back in time to enlist the help of the RTD Daleks, who arrive on the planet and launch a surprise attack on the Paradigm and classic Daleks.
    My evidence:
1: the new picture of Matt and Karen with a 60′s dalek shows that dalek to be covered in cobwebs, indicating that it could be buried and neglected.
2: The eye that comes out of the snow is a paradigm eye, indicating that whatever operation is being carried out on the planet, it is the paradigm daleks behind it.
3: It is illogical that the classic daleks would be hostile towards the new paradigm as the new paradigm daleks are both pure, and miles more powerful than them.

70’s DALEK !!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . but we’re already aware of that one when one of the five recently uploaded pictures showed it was a 70’s Dalek, and some people thought it was Dalek Sec’s black casing.

It’s not the Anniversary. There are two reasons why:
1.) Karen Gillan is there and Karen doesn’t want to come back once she’s left.
2.) The 50th Anniversary doesn’t begin filming till early next year.

It certainly seems like a story that would be quite suitable for the 50th Anniversary though.
