John Locke I agree with you! Rose was awful. Not bad in series 1 but from series 2 she became very dislikeable

It will be a shame to see Amy Pond and Rory Williams (A.K.A. Karen Gillen and Arther Duvill-Sorry for spelling ) leave the show. But its time for fresh blood in the assistence post. I hope they write them out with a big bang

slightly off topic, dont know if anyone watches merlin, but who else thinks kate McGrath who plays morgana would be an amazing rani?

Sad news gotta love the ponds. interesing quote from steven moffat regarding the new companion i read online ā€˜I’m not going to tell you anything about he, she or it.’ “it” maybe being a hint we might be getting an alien companion. personally i would love christina chong (jenny from a good man goes to war)as the next companion, obviously as a different character though seeing as she died.

I think the “heartbreaking end” will involve River and her book of spoilers. I reckon she knows that something nasty is going to happen to her parents and she can’t do anything about it, and she will travel with the Doctor in their place.

Rose is the worst to me. In fact she is only companion I actually disliked.

a bit sad but now u see why there did not want to bring out a rory figure also does anyone think that river song may possibly be the new companion considering that the new game the eternity clock is coming out and shes the companion

So glad to see the back of Amy. Hopefully the next companion will be a lot better thought out and written for. An older actress would be beneficial and would give a different rapport opposite Smith.

A 50th anniversary celebration that includes the 11th Doctor and not the Ponds would be a complete joke.

This is awful, they are easily the best companions this show had yet.

I expected they would likely leave after season 7, but certainly not during. I was also really hoping that they would be the only “main” companions for the entire Matt Smith run. If they were going to get rid of them I’d rather at least the keep the Doctor on his own. And this leaving in “heartbreaking” fashion… Moffat I swear to god…

    Thing is, they’ve already left…
