Amy /Rory to leave Doctor Who In Series 7
At lasts nights press screening of The Doctor, The Widow and the wardrobe Steven Moffat announced “The final days of the Ponds are coming during the next series”.
He added that it would be a heartbreaking end for the ponds and he thinks River Song Will return as well. The Doctor will also get a new friend.

December 16th, 2011 - 7:43pmI think the “heartbreaking end” will involve River and her book of spoilers. I reckon she knows that something nasty is going to happen to her parents and she can’t do anything about it, and she will travel with the Doctor in their place.

I expected they would likely leave after season 7, but certainly not during. I was also really hoping that they would be the only “main” companions for the entire Matt Smith run. If they were going to get rid of them I’d rather at least the keep the Doctor on his own. And this leaving in “heartbreaking” fashion… Moffat I swear to god…
