Since a lot of fan’s of Doctor Who like myself hate the Paradigm Daleks, calling them things like Mini-Coopers and Power Rangers, Ive given them a repainting to what I feel would have been more acceptable for each one.

If anyone would like to take a look at my repainting of the 5 Paradigm Daleks, please visit the Deviant Art website and look for ‘Doctor Who: The Paradigm Daleks – Remastered’.

Toyah Wilcox is the name of the woman I mentioned in a couple of recent posting who some of us here on the site thought was a 2nd Amy Pond that I said about standing next to Matt Smith’s Doctor in a photo in SFX Magazine but I forgot her name after I came home from WH Smiths.

Why is everyone complaining that it’s on the same time as The X Factor?

First of all, last Saturday the X Factor was on 8pm, and Doctor Who is on 7:20pm……

    I cannot wait!!!!!! 😀

members of society only tune in to watch Simon Cowell insult people and give that nasty grin of his just so they have something to complain about when they get bored and have nothing better to do.

Us Doctor Who fan’s are different. We look beyond the often boring mundane life of our own world and see Doctor Who as an opportunity to escape from our own world from time to time and see the universe through the eyes of the Doctor and his companions, in effect taking us on the trip of a life time with them rather being stuck at home all day watching people who can’t sing being insulted by a man who’s a complete and total nobody standing next to a man who is the savior of the universe, space and time.

I will be watching, and would not miss it for anything else on TV, but sadly it will have a powerful enemy…

Why can’t everyone just see that the X Factor ran out of energy years ago and should be cancelled. All it does is supply entertainment to the brainless members of society and it steals ratings of great TV such as Doctor Who.

PS, it’s the same day as I go to watch the Paralympics!

There has never been an story in Doctor Who that ever talks about the changed the Daleks and Cybermen have had.

With Dalek casings, it’s due to improvements in weaponry, sensors, optical systems, the ability to elevate off the ground etc.

With Cybermen, it’s said that they separated themselves into different groups, and over time these different groups created themselves into the individual forms they all have. Can’t remember where I learned this, but after Tomb of the Cybermen, a group of Cybermen from like Revenge of the Cybermen I think it was discovered the ones from Tomb, and they made a hybrid of both versions into the 80’s Cybermen, intended to be the ultimate Cybermen.

The Sontarans probably wanted better looking armour, who knows 🙂

is there a story to why the daleks change their appearances like in Victory Of The Daleks the last remaining bronze daleks got destroyed by the new ones & the new ones got created by the bronze daleks so thats one story, but what about the others?
Also the same about the Cybermen & the Sontarans. why don’t they make an episode with every type of sontaran & every type of cybermen
