The 14th Doctor
July 6th, 2012 - 1:46pmHow about this theory: The Paradigm Daleks by this time have become stronger and more powerful than ever, but people across the universe have risen against them and they are locked in a brutal war against the whole universe.
They decide that they need reinforcements so journey to a planet that houses a huge tomb of Daleks. The tomb served as an asylum for the Daleks during the time war (hence the title) and inside the tomb is every form of Dalek ever to have lived. The Paradigm Daleks wake the Daleks from the tomb up and expect them to obey them. However they do not. The old 60’s Daleks obey them, as they are also pure, but the Bronze Grey and Imperial Daleks instantly turn against them, and a Dalek civil war breaks out.
The Doctor initially tries to stop the tomb from being opened, but when he fails he quickly leaves the Daleks to their civil war. This civil war will be raging on into future Dalek episodes, which gives the team the chance to use any sort of Daleks they want in the future. (I have a feeling they might want to sneakily stop using the Paradigms)
(At some point I’d love Davros back. As long as they don’t put him in a Paradigm chair, I’ll be happy.)
Give me a Dalek any day
July 6th, 2012 - 6:05pmThat’s a very good theory. 🙂 I like it! 🙂

July 7th, 2012 - 10:24pmhahahahahaha Davros in a paradigm chair made me laugh, imagine that. 🙂
The Time Lord of Doom
July 10th, 2012 - 9:06amExcellent theory! I think it’s great! 😀
doctor who
July 1st, 2012 - 3:32pmi think this episode will be part of the story arc this year and this episode will connect to the doctor returning to the shadows as the daleks may not recognise him after death at lake silencio and i think it could connect to the bigger story arc of the first question and the silence.maybe the daleks in this story are to do with the story arc and this could build up to the series final and bring davros back.
McGann is the Doctor.
July 1st, 2012 - 6:53pmHm, that’s not too bad a theory.
How do you think they will have him come back, will there even need to be any reference to his death in Journey’s End ? ❓
Stormageddon
July 1st, 2012 - 8:48pmDid he die in JE ????
ParadigmDalek
July 2nd, 2012 - 5:10amWho knows? Could be, might not be, you never know with Davros…
Boodleoo
July 7th, 2012 - 10:21pmI think he used an emergency temporal shift and got out or the escape pod again.
Boodleoo
June 30th, 2012 - 9:21pmI think this episode will be a great opener like the impossible astronaut, but I don’t think the Doctor will win. I think he’ll just escape leaving the Daleks to carry on recreating an army until they return in a later episode in the series. Or I think judging by the title these Daleks might be crazy so maybe they are Daleks who have shown emotion or who have malfunctioned and so were imprisoned there but that would be a bit of a short story.
McGann is the Doctor.
July 1st, 2012 - 6:54pmIt must be like a prison of all these old Daleks.
I thought it might be called “Tomb of the Daleks”.
Boodleoo
July 7th, 2012 - 10:22pmYeah that would be great.
Dalek Sec
June 30th, 2012 - 9:52amEvery Dalek on Doctor Who? Moffat, you better not disappoint me.
the werm
June 30th, 2012 - 8:22pmHere, Here
ParadigmDalek
June 30th, 2012 - 5:40amI’m hoping to see the Daleks as two unified armies, Paradigm/Renegade/60’s Daleks vs Imperial/bronze Daleks, with the white Supreme Dalek and Davros as the leaders.
The Spaceman
June 30th, 2012 - 6:34pmThat would be good but it’s only one episode it it was that ti would probably be a 2 parter.
ParadigmDalek
July 2nd, 2012 - 5:15amNot necessarily, if Moffat wrote it well enough, it could be in one episode. The problem is, with Moffat, you never know if it’s really good with dramatic performances, or if it’s just part of a big sitcom spreading through time and space.
the funky whovian
June 29th, 2012 - 10:44amIve just been thinking about the series 7 trailer. when the doctor says “give me a dalek any day” hes in his stetson thus making that scene from ep 3. Does this mean that the doctor doesnt have too much of a hard time getting rid of the daleks if he would prefer them to the reckoner? Just a thought…
Dalek of Doom
June 27th, 2012 - 10:07pmIf I was Moffat I would have left Daleks till 50th!
Ronnies thoughts
June 27th, 2012 - 6:13pmIf im honest i have low expectations for this story as it seems more like a gimmic rather than a plot or a narritive the concept seems to conviluted to work then again i havent seen the story so who knows i may be plesantly suprised and i sincerly hope i am
the TARDIS
June 27th, 2012 - 4:12pmCannot say how glad I am that they are bringing back all the Daleks! William Hartnell Daleks and Genesis of the Daleks designs are my favourite, and I love the Special Weapons Dalek. And… since the old designs are all coming back, the focus will be shifted off the dodgy “pregnant” Daleks!

June 27th, 2012 - 2:41amTerribel ttile, should have been Legecy of the DaleksIt’s gonna be bad, the whole episode will be like series 5 cold blood, them running down corridors avoiding dales that just woke up in some kind of Dalek Prison/Museum. Boring like The Rebel flesh two parter. But we can live in hope, it won’t be like the stolen earth unfortunately a well.

June 26th, 2012 - 7:24pmif the daleks are in the first episode it might not be something big. like in series 3 the dalek story was in the middle of the series and the big plot was the master returning. this could be a similr thing
DALEKSKITTLES
June 26th, 2012 - 8:10pmI agree with you although it still might be good
DALEKSKITTLES
June 26th, 2012 - 7:23pmI reckon everyone will hate me for saying this bit I don’t think it will that good because only the first episode so by episode 4 everyone would have just forgotten about this :/ they should have made a bigger thing about if the daleks just don’t seem like such a big thing anymore it’s going to be AWSOME to see the old ones but I bet it’s gonna be rushed :/ I’m not putting my hopes up high
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 8:09pmI’m glad to see the Daleks back. They’ve had their well earned break and now they’re back. 😀
DALEKSKITTLES
June 26th, 2012 - 8:12pmYer I agree with you it’s going to be AWSOME 🙂 but what I said before is what I THINK might happen I love the daleks!!!! My favorite monster!

June 27th, 2012 - 2:43amIts nor gonna be as epic as the stolen earth. Them just avoiding reanimated daleks on Dalek prison on an Abandoned Penal planet. End of. Forget and move on to Ep 2
DALEKSKITTLES
June 27th, 2012 - 7:19amI disagree I think the story line will be great nd stolen earth I thought wasn’t that good I mean the red supreme DALEK looked awful and we saw no development in the daleks them self really

June 26th, 2012 - 4:37pmthe daleks have found more progenitors and have created more daleks. each dalek design is a differant dalek rank.I have a feeling that davros or the evil of the daleks emperor will return
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 6:21pmAsylum of the Daleks is only the start of the mad, wonderful rollercoaster that is Series 7 (or 33). There’s lots more to look forward to after that and I am definitely excited! I can’t wait any longer! 😀
ParadigmDalek
June 30th, 2012 - 5:45amHm, the Daleks made secret bunkers on worlds they conquered, hidden from all other creatures. These bunkers contained Daleks, so if the Daleks ever died out, ther would be a signal transmitting from every Dalek’s casing, and when all the signals stopped transmitting, the bunker would release an army of Daleks, and as the Daleks improved on themselves, they would add newer, more updated Daleks, and just leave the old ones there. And when the Progenitor malfunctions and stops making Daleks, they go to one of these bunkers to awaken an army, but little do they know, Davros is already there, with plans to make his own army of Daleks…
ParadigmDalek
June 30th, 2012 - 5:45amAt least, that’s my theory
The Time Lord of Doom
June 26th, 2012 - 8:21amBooboo more news! An episode in Series 7 part 2 is called Phantoms of the Hex. It’s possibly episode 11 and actress that’s in it said it but I can’t remember her name. 😐
booboo
June 26th, 2012 - 8:41amthat could just be a working title
The Time Lord of Doom
June 26th, 2012 - 12:14pmBut booboo how could it be when the actress herself said it? I don’t understand.
booboo
June 26th, 2012 - 12:20pmepisodes are often given working titles before the final one in decided, happens all the time.not saying this isn’t the final name just that it might not be and i think the BBC would rather it was revealed via official channels than someone’s CV to be honest.
Remember these from last year?…
The Impossible Astronaut – The Year of the Moon
The Curse of the Black Spot – Siren
The Almost People – Gangers
A Good Man Goes to War – Demons Run
Night Terrors – What are Little Boys Made of
Closing Time – Carry-On Lodging
The Wedding of River Song – The Wedding
The Time Lord of Doom
June 26th, 2012 - 1:20pmI knew all of them apart from The Curse of the black Spot and Closing Time. 😐
Anonymous
June 26th, 2012 - 9:43pmThe Girl Who Waited had several as well, and Closing Time was also briefly Three Cybermen and a Baby (until the budget got boosted and they could have a fourth Cyberman).
Sebatron
June 26th, 2012 - 2:53amYes! Yes! Yes! THIS IS GREAT!!!

June 26th, 2012 - 12:07amSounds interesting,i think it will fun to watch.
CG
June 25th, 2012 - 10:41pmSo this episode is being billed as ‘epic’. How we can expect an epic adventure in the space of only 45 minutes is anyone’s guess.
This needs to be something special. If not a 2 parter, then a longer episode.
And as for every Dalek ever appearing. Does that mean millions of Daleks will be in this episode? I think not. Surely every incarnation of Dalek ever would be a more apt description.
matt smithy
June 26th, 2012 - 7:12am“the doctors wife”, “the big bang” “journeys end”. All epic 45 minute episodes. If they can do that, they can do this!
Dalek Sec
June 26th, 2012 - 7:30amYes, but having every Dalek ever, would need to at least be a two parter. Every Dalek Ever would be just too awesome to be in one episode.
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 8:47amI hope it’s longer than 45 minutes just so we can have more Dalek action. 😀
Also, I hate to sound too picky, but Journey’s End was 75 minutes (I think. It was definitely longer than 45) and The Big Bang was 55 minutes. Wait a second! The Big Bang was 2 years ago today. 😀 Happy 2 years since our Universe was rebooted! 😀
The Time Lord of Doom
June 26th, 2012 - 12:13pmOh Give me a Dalek Any day, you always make me laugh! “Happy 2 years since our universe was rebooted!”. 😆 Also Journey’s End was definetaly not that long! That’s as long as Voyage of the Damned. It was around 60-65 minutes I think.
Give me a Dalek any day
June 26th, 2012 - 12:45pmThat means it’s also 2 years since the Fez. Oh and it’s Amy and Rory’s wedding anniversary, but nothing (and I mean nothing) beats a Fez! 😀
The Time Lord of Doom
June 26th, 2012 - 1:19pmLol happy anniversary, Amy and Rory! 🙂

June 26th, 2012 - 2:45pmDavros better be back! It wouldn’t be right bringing all of them back and leaving him out.

June 25th, 2012 - 10:55pmi can mean a few things, it can mean a retreat or hideaway, somewhere there are protected or it can mean a “prison” or secure place where they are held because they have gone mad or to stop them from doing harm

June 25th, 2012 - 6:07pmI canot wait for this episode to air. I have a feeling that this episode will beat genasis of the daleks by a landslide. good on you moffat bringing back every single dalek:)
alex
June 25th, 2012 - 8:15pmthat’s the point, moffatt said that if he revealed the name of the episode too soon, it’d give away the plot in a second, i don’t see how it could now that it has been revealed
Give me a Dalek any day
June 25th, 2012 - 3:33pmWell, it look like Series 7 could be airing at the end of August since most screenings are usually 1-2 weeks before the episode. I have to admit, I was hoping that it would air around late September/early October time.
Dalek Jake
June 25th, 2012 - 3:26pmIs this a two parter and will there be any two parters in this series if not then that’s just silly.
Give me a Dalek any day
June 25th, 2012 - 4:32pmThere are no two parters in this series. However, Moffat has said there will only be two parters if there needs to be. 🙂
