Missy all the way. Just wish it could really happen in the show. Forget Daleks, Zygons and Cybermen, the greatest enemy of the Doctor, the evil Katie Hopkins.

I did a comparison with a few who fans “which would u rather come face to face with in a dark ally, Hopkins or the Haemavore things (blue monsters from Tom Bakers era, i think). They all said Haemavores!

    Not sure what to think.
Like the Zygons, but I’m feeling it looks a bit too childish.
    I dunno.

Its possible, they did it with the minotaur creature in the god complex, the ood were based around the sense sphere like the sensorites and there are different variations of silurians and the like. They tend to do that. A new variation on an old monster.

U could be on to something, look at those eye/hand things.they seem to be .a de of a rock like substance, not to unlike the body’s of the people of pompeii, sounds like a coincidence, that is until u remember the subaltern sisters used eyes painted on theit hands as a sort of symbol.

Plus the fact that both David Tennant and RTD were in Cardiff recently, but again it could all just be a coincidence

You right. On my mobile it looks like a gold dalek. But when I looked closely on the tv screen it is a grey dalek from remembrance. Thanks.

I suppose it could be a reinvention again of an old monster. I may be wrong but I guess it’s a possibility with it being Doctor Who and all

But these are fire breathing. Before I saw that image I never thought of tharils though I see where your coming from, in fact the one sat reminded me a little from the banquet scene in warriors gate.

There has been some discussion here as to whether Missy is really the Master so maybe there should be, as with “The Night Of The Doctor” mini episode showing Paul McGann’s 8th Doctor regenerating into the John Hurt War Doctor, a mini episode showing the John Simm Master regenerating into Michelle Gomez’s Missy.

Ahh, turns out, his got a website which right now says that as soon as the episode is aired, he will write up a blog to talk about his experience of working on the episode featuring his Dalek.

    The website is –

That was my Dalek dot blog spot dot co dot uk

I did add the link previously, but it won’t show up 🙂

A Doctor Who fan on the website Deviant Art commented on a new upload of mine called ‘Doctor Who – Series 9 Dalek Epicness’ and claimed in his comment that the Renegade Dalek from ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’ seen in the new trailer in between a couple of Time War Daleks is his. His user name is ‘Vote Dave’. Here’s his comment –

Huzzah! I’m glad you spotted that the grey Dalek is from Remembrance – most people I’ve seen online seem to be saying it’s from Resurrection. I know for certain that it is from Remembrance because it is my Dalek! I loaned it to the BBC for this episode.

Does anybody else agree with me on the following:

An episode where Katie Hopkins plays herself (an evil, aging, maniacal tyrant) that is complety destroyed by the Daleks!

Now thats one person id love to see face the horror of a loud voice shouting “Exterminate!”

What if the Daleks meeting Missy doesn’t mean that the Daleks are in the first two-parter…
What if it means that Missy herself is to appear in another story…!

No it’s not gold and black, it’s grey and black. Trust me, it is a Renegade Dalek from ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’.

In fact, if you go back through the comments on this page, another fan called ‘Doctor Who Fan 11’ asked if it was one from ‘Genesis of the Daleks’, and the reply he got from ‘The Daleks Death’ corrected him by saying –

Nope, it’s actually a Renegade Dalek from ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’. You can tell by the eyestalk and skirt builds, and the colours.

  • ColinB

    August 14th, 2015 - 7:53am

But its gold and black. There was not one of that colour in rememberance?

I think that guy in the hood could be a version of John Simm’s Master whose decaying or dying, like the Masters we saw in The Deadly Assassin and The Keeper of Traken. I could be wrong, but in the first trailer theres a cave where the hooded guy is going in and it looks like the planet Karn, as the landscape is very similar to what we saw in The Night of the Doctor. Plus, there’s red cloaked figures around so they would obviously be the Sisterhood of Karn. Anyway, Clare Higgins who previously played Ohila, a member of the Sisterhood of Karn in Night of the Doctor is confirmed to appear in the opener. So we might see the Master escape from Gallifrey to the planet Karn and see him do what the 8th Doctor did, but instead get a new regeneration cycle and watch his regeneration into a woman!

No, it’s a Renegade Dalek from 1988’s ‘Remembrance of the Daleks’ 🙂

For those of us of a “certain” age, despite seeing the trailer on the internet, I didn’t consider it official until I saw it on BBC1 tonight, lol.

0:29 – is that a gold dalek (from Day of the Daleks) on the upper right between two bronze daleks?

The problem is most whovians seem to be judging them purely on looks, I feel pretty certain that if Moffat was to give these daleks just one moment of pure evil, commiting an act so terrible even by dalek standards that may make up for there rainbow design

That guy at 3:00 /1:00 with a hood on his head looks like a rump steak with those horizontal lines over his face, ha ha 😀

Man imagine him serving you in a steak house or any place that serves steak, ha ha 😀

Maybe the dalek story happens before the time war. It would explains the old and new daleks and I assume the daleks rising from the city.
