Explosive New Trailer Now LIve

Matt Smith returns as the oldest time-traveller in the universe. The Time Lord, Amy and Rory are kidnapped by their oldest foe the Daleks and forced on a seemingly impossible mission – to enter the Asylum, a planetary prison confining the most terrifying and insane of the deadly aliens’ kind.

They need an escape route, and fast – but with an army of mad Daleks closing in, and the Ponds’ relationship in meltdown, it is up to the Doctor to save not only their lives but his friends’ marriage. Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill co-star.

It can’t be Skaro, the planet was destroyed in the Time War, plus since when did Skaro ever look like Hoth from Star Wars : Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back ???? . . . .

Basically what I can make out from that trailer is that they are sending the doctor to Skaro via beams to kill and cleanse (blow them up) those insane of their kind in the Asylum.

I know apparently she is important, but where is the bald guy in armour because they don’t appear at the same time and there is no one cast for the bald guy in armour, which is strange

Who cares, it’s not the first time Doctor Who’s had Dalek Agents, look at Resurrection of the Daleks for example.

Here Boo Boo, that woman I recently mentioned that I found a picture off standing next to Matt’s Doctor inside SFX Magazine, it is not Toyah Wilcox, is an actress called Anamaria Marinca. Her character is called Darla Von Karlsen – an agent of the Daleks 😀

If you type in ‘Anamaria Marinca Doctor Who’, the picture of her with Matt appears right at the top on Google in images, standing on the left side of him in the picture.

Short while yet before this new trailer is uploaded, but I wonder, could this ‘Predator of the Daleks’ being something from the Daleks earliest stories ? like a Varga Plant or a Slyther ?.

Maybe, maybe not, time will tell, always does 🙂

I remember that Star Trek episode your talking about, saw it a while back on CBS Action when they broadcast all 79 episodes digitally remastered.

Ive always called the Horta a giant baked Pizza due it it’s appearance, often joking ‘Oh look, another victim of the giant Pizza Monster !!!!’:D

Other than the Daleks (dont have a problem with the paradigm,”Power Rangers”, design but if it were really a hit then surely the whole point of them was to fully replace the Time War ones and not just have them as an officer class) and Cybermen the Weeping Angels.

Always cringed at description though of beings in series as “Monsters” instead of “Aliens” as I have always thought that that description juvenises unecessarily popular perceptions about the series.

A rock eating Horta that looks like a blob that can incinerate a man with it’s acid in “Star Trek” isn’t a monster-it’s an alien.
