WOW!! I loved her in Waterloo Road and it’s fantastic to have a northern companion! Let’s hope she has a northern accent while she stays on the show!
Can’t wait for the Weeping Angels to return! Can wait for the Daleks!

Yeah, would like a bit of a change rather than humans. It would be funny if she was a Dalek in disguise!

Never heard of her, but is she a good actress, and more importantly, will she make a good DW Companion? Will she live up to the standard set by Karen Gillan???

I don’t know her either. But DW is generally spot-on with casting, so I suspect she’ll bring something good and unique to the show.

    Well hopefully. :p

The good news: That this was published in the lunchbreak so I could spend a 10 minuts to find out what the h… their thinking about.

The bad news: Its only bad news…. Seems like they just thinking “we never going to top Karen anyway, so lets just find someone who makes the Doctor look good and dont steal all the attention.”

But this is just my reaction. And I know that redheads/blondes with a decent height just like ms. Gillan is just my type of girls. After all, it has a few benefits to watch DW with a partner who can identify herself with ms. Gillan. But his girl? No offence, but I probably wouldnt noticed her at all. And I’m afraid that the comments at home will be even less flattering. So this is bad, bad news….

The fact she’s listed as ‘sexiest female’ doesn’t boost my confidence – sorry to be a bore but I prefer companions who are more than just a pretty face – like all the companions in Tennants era for example!
