Friendship drives the Doctor into the rashest decision of his life. Trapped on a giant spaceship, caught in the event horizon of a black hole, he witnesses the death of someone he is pledged to protect. Is there any way he can redeem his mistake? Are events already out of control?

The Doctor is played by Peter Capaldi, Bill by Pearl Mackie and Nardole by Matt Lucas. Michelle Gomez guest stars as Missy and John Simm guest stars as The Master.

I don’t know whether he thinks shes the Doctor or what, but I saw a 2nd trailer (it was a bit blurry, as it was recorded of a TV screen, as it was aired by BBC America or something) and in this second trailer, the Master seems to be dancing with his latter incarnation.

June 18th, 2017 - 12:18pmJohn Simm may even be playing a later incarnation of The Master, he may have decided to go back and “visit of few of the old favourites”as a certain familiar face once told the Doctor. It may even turn out that Missy is the Master’s wife and only told the Doctor she was the Master just to see how he’d react and if he would treat her any differently as a female.
This could have been the Master’s plan all along. Get his wife Missy to trick the Doctor, get him to trust her and slowly turn his life upside down. Missy could even be Susan Foreman and wants revenge on her Grandfather for leaving her on earth, and the Master has manipulated her into teaming up with him.

Sorry for my Sarcastic comment, but I don’t think there is any point in saying ‘(insert character here) is the Master!’, unless you have some pretty strong evidence to support your theory. For example: I believe the War Chief is the Master because they not only have the same goals and look similar, but also because it is inferred in one of the VNA’s that the War Chief regenerates into Delgado.

I am still holding out that Missy is infact an imposter who imprisoned Simms Master. Not because i’m against the gender change. Just because i think it would fit her character perfectly.
