I don’t know why, but as much as I’m looking forward to this finale, I’m kind of worried that it’s gonna be weird, disjointed, confusing and disappointing. I think there’s gonna be a lot of weird dream sequences with Bill and disjointed jump cuts between old and new cybermen! I sooo hope I’m wrong because I can’t remember the last time I was this excited for a finale!!

The Outcast, those Topknot things you mentioned made my skin crawl. If they are half converted Cybermen, i think i can see how Bill may the series.

The rumour is that the concert is only being advertised as a fan event for the finale, when in actuallity, they are planning to surprisee everyone, by revealing the identity of the 13th doctor there.
It would also explain why the BBC are supposedly broadcasting it around the world, instead of just england. The expenses for the fans there would be more worth it than they had thought.

I hope they still keep their mouths held open when they speak, i find that slightly creepy. I think the voice needs to be a bit more electrical though as the originals were a little cringe but that’s just me

Out of curiosity, is this the longest that Missy has gone without killing someone in a season ?

Just don’t do it too near Missy though, lol.

If he is I think it’s such a bizarre, brain rattling idea that for some reason I love it. It also puts me in mind of what Captain Jack said when we had two 10th Doctors plus a part Doctor part Donna scenario : “three Doctors, you won’t believe what I’m thinking right now”, lol.

There is a lot of potential of it being an over convoluted mess. What with Missy, the Master, Mondas and original Cybermen to bring together.

They sort of tried that when Clara said she was The Doctor to a Cyberman in Death in Heaven, complete with her eyes in the titles. It may have aggravated one or two people.

Really hoping the voices are kept the same, that would make me very happy! loved the USA trailer, looks like we might see some close up’s of Mondas that we have never had so really excited for that, really hope the whole thing is done very well, their is a lot of potential for this episode!

I loved that trailer so much more than the English one, the way the half converted people turn their heads slowly. The English next time made it look like a story with cybermen whereas the American one made it look like an cyber man story. In the next time The way the Doctor says we’re going to drop Missy into a scenario and see how she does made me think he was going to run a simulation or something. The black hole setting reminded me of the Satan pit, the trailer showed blue people who have been in this series as well as the master and the cybermen. All these familiar elements made me think the Doctor has orchestrated a scenario where he had a dilemma, and a couple of villains to test missy against so I thought the whole Simm return would be a giant let down and it would all be a simulation or something. The American trailer gave me a bit of comfort though as it seems like John Simm is back for real

  • The Outcast

    June 19th, 2017 - 1:19pm

I’m loving all the Hospital imagery from both trailers. The creepy half converted things (called ‘Topknots’ apparently), the Surgical Equipment, the blood bags. I’m really excited, hopefully this won’t be a Hell Bent scenario.

The BBC America trailer looks really good. Wont say anything in case people havent watched it yet. But everything about the Mondasian Cybermen is freaky. Imo, the versions of the Cybermen that followed the Mondas ones dont have anything compared to the original. Just shows that back when the show was on a budget, they truly knew how to make a simple concept terrifying!

Im intrigued as to how The Doctor Falls.

What was wrong with my post???
    Why has it been removed???

Anonymous, yes, but we’ve still not seen the Doctor become the valeyard (at least in Canon) the Great Intelligence only claimed that the Valeyard would be one of the future aliases of the Doctor “before the end.”, nothing about Smith directly becoming the Valeyard.

Exterminator, ah yes, I’d forgotten about that! Also we already know that the 12th Doctor likes to hide his damage, like when he was blind, so we know that he wouldn’t say anything if he was in danger of dying, so that explanation makes a lot more sense 🙂

Hope they play Murray Gold’s brilliant master vainglorious theme it worked so well last time ! Delighted Derek Jacobi’s Master back on audio too

I think he’s trying to make Missy good because he’s dying and he needs her to take his place. When he saved her from execution, he actually absorbed the death energy intended for her and it’s been slowly killing him all series. Notice how concerned she was for him at the end of empress of mars, she kept asking if he was ok. She knows something’s wrong.

With all those t&c’s and expenses, its better and easier to just watch it on the telly in the comfort of your own home.

Um, no. The Valeyard already exists as per the Great Intelligence in The Name of the Doctor (he was created by Smith’s Doctor).

  • The Living Shadow

    June 18th, 2017 - 5:15pm

What if the Doctor is trying to make Missy good, because he knows his next incarnation is the Valeyard, and he wants Missy to take the role of the Doctor for when he, as the Valeyard, tries doing something evil?!?

I wander what iron man and silver robocops relevance is to the mondasian cybermen for this outing?
