Series 10 Episode 5 Oxygen 7.15PM Saturday 13th May
Written by Jamie Mathieson and directed by Charles Palmer.
The Doctor, Bill and Nardole answer a distress call in deep space, and find themselves trapped on board space station Chasm Forge. All but four of the crew have been murdered – and the dead are still walking!
In a future where oxygen is sold by the breath, and space suits are valued more highly than their occupants, the TARDIS crew battle for survival against the darkest evil of all…
The Doctor is played by Peter Capaldi, Bill by Pearl Mackie and Nardole by Matt Lucas.
The Living Shadow
May 13th, 2017 - 7:56pmOh okay, the fact that the original poster used a comma between the sentences about the Doctor’s mind burning and Moffat writing made me think that the sentences were linked…

May 13th, 2017 - 7:04pmAnd good point catnip.

May 13th, 2017 - 7:03pmMissy’s really good idea could be wiping her memory of Clara? She spent a bit of time with her in this episode so she most likely had had enough of her. I know I would if I could.
Doctor Stu
May 13th, 2017 - 6:51pmThe original poster was asking a question they were saying ‘what happens if he does remember, will his mind burn up?’ They weren’t saying that moffatt wrote that
The Living Shadow
May 13th, 2017 - 3:58pmOh sorry I meant about what the original commenter wrote about the Doctor remembering Clara and how that should apparently burn his mind.. I don’t remember Moffat writing anything about that in the past.
I totally agree with you on the ‘Impossible Girl’ thing, I don’t want to hear anything more about it!
The Outcast
May 13th, 2017 - 2:48pm110% is Missy. Either that, or she freed whatever was in the vault and put herself inside to mock the Doctor.
The Outcast
May 13th, 2017 - 2:46pmI agree. I found last weeks ending a bit of a cop out at the end. I think the villain for this one is corporate greed rather than something that is ‘Misunderstood’. I mean, Misunderstood is fine and dandy, but it shouldn’t be the case for every story. Sometimes we need the big bads to be real villains.
The Outcast
May 13th, 2017 - 2:43pm‘Death in Heaven’ is where that bit about Missy putting the two together comes from I believe.
Hopefully it will be ignored completely. I’ve had more than enough of that ‘Impossible Girl’ nonsense to last me 13 life times. Clara should have left in series 8. Besides, Missy probably won’t care, companions come and go constantly. Shes got Bill and Nardole to deal with now.
The Living Shadow
May 12th, 2017 - 8:44pmWhen did Moffat write that?
Doctor Stu
May 12th, 2017 - 8:07pmThis is moffat so it’ll probably be glossed over

May 12th, 2017 - 1:05amSomething that has occured to me, is that as Missy returns in Extremis, wont she wonder where Clara is? After all, she was the one that made it so the Doctor and Clara met each other (the woman in the shop). With the Doctor been made to forget Clara, MIssy should still remember her.
And what happens if he does remember Clara? Does his mind burn up or something, hope Moffat has remembered what he wrote previously so that everything fits in and makes sense.

May 10th, 2017 - 11:45amI think the regeneration will be in next week’s episode.
Jordan Scott
May 9th, 2017 - 9:47pmNo I actually prefer Hell Bent to Sleep No More, was a bit all over the place but there was still stuff going on at least and an actual plot. SNM was in my opinion the most boring, dull and pointless episode I’ve ever seen – so much so that I can’t even accept it as an episode and don’t know how anyone could find it entertaining.
fiona ting
May 9th, 2017 - 1:05pmI hope this episode is very good
Doctor Stu
May 9th, 2017 - 11:03amAlso, dont let everyone come back to life again or make the monster another misunderstood creature we need death and evil otherwise there’s no risks
Doctor Stu
May 9th, 2017 - 11:01amIt says they lose the TARDIS, obviously to isolate them for the plot which isn’t a problem but I hope there’s a good explanation as to how they eventually get the TARDIS back, I hope it’s not a cop out witches familiar tardis return or moffat inventing a new power the TARDIS has that allows it to return. Is this just me being picky. I think it is
The Outcast
May 9th, 2017 - 8:48amYes, Sleep No More > Hell Bent.
Weeping Angel
May 9th, 2017 - 7:42amHell Bent was much worse?!
Weeping Angel
May 9th, 2017 - 7:41amThx catnip. I think that Missy could have escaped from Skaro like when we thought she died in Death in Heaven but she came back.
Johnnycake
May 9th, 2017 - 6:44amLooking into my temporal schism I think the Doctors regeneration will start in this one and that nardole has some Cyberman in him. As for who is in the vault ….I’m going the celestial Toymaker,no evidence to back this up
Fez nation
May 9th, 2017 - 6:37amYeah I agree Bill should stay
Fez nation
May 9th, 2017 - 6:36am100% it’s not missy
r1ch1e
May 8th, 2017 - 9:14pmMaybe she did a similar thing to the doctor in Day of the Doctor! When 11 had a thought that slowly went back through all his lives and they all worked together to save Gallifrey.
Maybe Missy had a similar idea with the Masters and they helped get her off Skaro!
catnip
May 8th, 2017 - 8:58pmWeeping Angel, very well spotted indeed! I too thought this, but felt i may have been put down by others. It does make a lot of sense. The only thing that doesnt, is how the hell did she manage to escape from the Daleks on Skaro when she mentioned having “a very clever idea”?
But am liking your theory very much.

May 8th, 2017 - 8:53pmJordan Scott, what about Hell Bent?
Weeping Angel
May 8th, 2017 - 7:49pmOMG! I THINK I JUST WORKED OUT WHO IS IN THE VAULT.
Prediction: Missy (I know you think its obvious but keep reading!)
Evidence: Missy is in ep6 and thats when the secret of the vault is going to be revealed!
Massive Peice Of Evidence: If you pause the Series 10 Trailer at 39-40 seconds you will see Missy lying on something that looks a bit like a piano (there is a piano in the vault, watch end of knock knock). Also Missy seems to be in a cage for most of the trailer… A cage, a prison, a VAULT…
catnip
May 8th, 2017 - 4:54pmI feel this will be a good storyline, Bill obviously wont die as shown in the trailer, as shes in the whole series. Could just be a shape shifter that takes Bill’s appearance and then dies.
Very happy to see the funny Nardole is in the whole episode as he has a good rapport with the Doctor.
Finally, as the next episode is the return of Missy, hopefully we will get to see just who/what is behind those vault doors, preferably before it cuts to the credit sequence.
4 episodes down, only 9 left. Then a big gap (once again) till the Capaldi finale. Just a shame that Pearl Mackie wont be in series 11 with the Thirteenth Doctor, whoever HE is.
Jordan Scott
May 8th, 2017 - 3:46pmI don’t think anything could possibly ever even be close to being as bad as sleep no more.
S.M.
May 8th, 2017 - 1:58pmNo.
prototype dalek
May 8th, 2017 - 12:50pmI do agree with all of you, especially about Clara. I don’t think anything could beat that as one of the worst resets ever in Doctor Who. I’m sure Moffat would have learnt his lesson after then.
