Tardis Sound Heard at Olympic Opening
Something “Doctor Who” at Olympic opening ceremony
The Tardis engines were briefly heard at the Olympic opening ceremony. Newspapers had reported the theme tune was on a list due to played at the event which evidently was untrue.
However videos taken by the public show that a montage of The Doctors was shown on a big screen at rehearsals.
Recorded TV Videos of the Tardis sound have been blocked.

July 25th, 2012 - 1:06pmAs the ‘stage’ is the British countryside, how funny would it be if loads of daleks came started shooting and blowing it up (fake explosions obviously) then a tardis is lowered down, and the torch bearer comes out and lights it!!! And all the daleks go!

July 25th, 2012 - 7:44amThe events of the Doctor Who episode ‘Fear Her’ take place during the events of the opening ceremony this Friday, so soon we’ll be getting a visit from the 10th Doctor and Rose Tyler, and see the Doctor on live broadcast taking the Olympic Flame from an exhausted runner and simultaneously light the flame for the London Olympics while also helping the Isolus return with the rest of her kind.
I’m defiantly going to be watch that episode this Friday then 🙂
