Sorry to disappoint but Clara is the main star (cough cough) of Flatline

Well, I didn’t tune in to watch this one, as I gave up on it last week, so obviously I cant comment on it.
BUT – I have an observation here though ..
Because I was thinking ‘comments’ and not ‘doctor who’ I now believe strongly that many of the commenters here – especially those that reply to people giving negative reviews – are a few people that are posting many messages as different people – just commenting with a different name.
Maybe its BBC gremlins trying to make good? if so this message will get deleted most likely. Either way, reading between the lines it seems I didn’t miss much, I am not going to comment here further either, as its overrun with these ‘gremlins’. Bye Bye.

To sum up the poll so far, quite a lot thought that it was absolutely brilliant, a large amount (surprisingly) thought it was just terrible and not many people voted for things in the middle. So yes, this episode was Marmite. It was epic for me. 😀

To quote the Time Lord: “I AM The Doctor, whether you like it…or not”

I agree with your description of Clara the character is wrong for the show, she is probably a good actress but this is not for her

I agree dalekdave: the previous episodes have been pretty bad, they need to do episodes like when David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston were doctor. This weeks was much better than the others so far!!

I for 1 loved this episode. I think it was bigged up to be a lot more scary than it actually was (it was still scary though). I loved the 2 minute cameo from Danny. I thought the ending was very interesting. Second episode to have a moral dilemma (the other being Into The Dalek).

    1. Kill The Moon
    2. Deep Breath
    3. The Caretaker
    4. Listen
    5. Time Heist
    6. Into The Dalek
    7. Robot of Sherwood (which IS a kids one)

It is quite possibly my favourite episode of all time – on a par with stories like Genesis of the Daleks and Blink.

Matt Smith was just awful as the doctor…this episode has been the best in years!!!

Well. That could have been better. Story was pretty good, simple enough, a good twist and executed well to boot. Really nice Moon sets as well, and the Moon Spider/Germ things looked pretty good too in CGI.

Unfortunately, the acting part is a big letdown. Capaldi, with the exception of Deep Breath, was at his usual high standard. And the main Astronaut lady (No I don’t remember the name, nor do I care) was quite good too, and felt like a developed character, with SOUL and PERSONALITY.
Courtney before was kinda fun, but was utterly dreary to watch in this episode. Just a whiny ‘I’m Scared’ kid role, which is a shame, because she wasn’t too bad before.
Clara however, is still unlikeable after about 1 1/2 series. She’s not really emotional, just kinda whiny with a tad of bitch thrown in for good measure. You don’t like the Doctor now? Fine, not bothered at all. You were much better as Oswin Oswald.

6/10. Good enough story and things, but some really poor acting just makes it *so* slooooooow. Next week looks silly, but kinda scary and fun too!

Dr Who was once an intelligent sci fi series. It has been completely dumbed down to a moronic level. This is the first dr who series where I will not collect any DVDs of.

The quality of stories and its natural arc has gone into kindergarten land. It is now a childrens story for the under five year olds.

I watched my last episode last week, been watching it since 1963. did not even bother switching on this week. May have missed a good episode but not been impressed by this series so far
