What Would You Like For The 50th Anniversary

What Would You Like To See For The 50th Anniversary

With the days and months ticking away to the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who what would you like to see happen to celebrate this momentous occasion.

A multi Doctor Story? Past Doctors and Companions playing other parts? anything as long as it involves Paul McGann or Doctor Who street parties perhaps?

I think gallifrey should return. like stevan moffet said in interviews( victoriy of the daleks) that the time war was over and that the daleks should be constant in the doctors life. gallifrey should come back and so should the time lords. the doctor( aka the other) could help found the new time lord socity and his friends could be the new time lords
it could happon you knowlike with the unmande sesion 27 with the idiea that the doctor was traneing ace up to be a time lord. the 11th doctor could do the same and found a new and better gallifrey

I would like the BBC to make a film (or extended episode) of the Time War so that we watch what happened and eventually find out how the 8th Doctor regenerated during ‘The Moment’.

Adric died in Earthshock: part IV (i think in 1982)
SPOILERS IF YOU’VE NOT WATCHED IT:
to prevent the shuttle (that adric is on) crashing into the earth, by blowing it up.
The story afterwards (Time-flight) showed Matthew Waterhouse (Adric) doing a cameo as a ‘ghost’ of Adric to prevent Nyssa progressing to the next stage in the story (nearly). Earthshock was directly after Black Orchid, and before Time-flight and Arc of Infinity

I would hate him more if he was behind the Silence. Also Adric can come back, only just before he died. Considering how bad the Companions were, Amy Pond in my opinion is redeemed.

What if it was a Quest and The Doctor, Amy and Rory joins up with River Song to find a missing link to the whole universe and it could be a Powerful Souce within a cystal clear white stone rock but only the Doctors Enemys (Daleks, Cybermen and Sontarans etc)get in the way and stop the Doctor from getting it but why would his enemys stop him? but it isn’t the enemys who wants it, its Omega and this time he wants to take over the universe and take controll of everything! But can The Doctor stop this chaos and stop Omega?

good idea siminlar to mine which is the doctor and his army are summonded back in time to gallifrey by the forces of evil as today is a battle on gallifrey, the battle called trenzalore on the fields of battle, this battle will see the fall of the eleventh,a time lord group or empire ,the eleventh will fall or will it.it seems the eleventh, the time lord group have summoned him here to be forced to answer a question and no companion must speak falsely and the doctor will not fail to answer, the question.doctor who, this will see omega return as the doctor’s identity[the other]is connected to omega and he will return from his anti matter universe, this story could be set in early gallifrey or in the last days of the time war and omega will destroy the doctor and the silents could be a race who guard history and live at a mysterious gateway like void called trenzalore but the silents are really omegas time lord race created by him and the silents will have the doctor swapped with omega when the question is answered, the question being the key to the crack in time where omega is and he returns for revenge.the silents tricked the silence order in believing the question is dangerous so they can kill the doctor, erase him from time.so omega can see him just for fun of seeing the doctor dead.the doctor will return but will regenrate when he tries to escape the other side of trenzalore gateway.

    • doctor who

      June 6th, 2012 - 3:22pm

the last bit changed they want him dead because the silents know that the doctor[the other]was at the start of time lord history with rassilon and thought he could have been involved in his death[disapperance]so try to kill him for vengence on omega even when they need him to answer the question that will release omega and the eleventh is an empire of evil time lords and silents to unleash omega

Hey, has anyone else heard that there might be a doctor who film in the cinemas in the next couple of years? Well if you haven’t then hold on to your hats beacause there are big changes! No Matt smith, apparently starting from scratch, T. Davies nor moffatt are writing it, and they hope it will be like the next harry potter. OMG!!! This is ridiculous. My view of it is that it will end out like james bond. They’ll do a film every couple of years, and when the first actor who plays the doctor in it gets too old, they’ll replace him and that will go on and on and on. As a big doctor who fan, this is the WORST idea ever heard of, and i really hope it NEVER happens, I hate the entire idea, and from what I’ve read he majority of whovians are disgusted with the idea.
    Feedback please.

If they did a completely new re-boot of the series for a film, people who had seen the film first and wanted to see the series would probably look at it and go “that’s nothing like what happened in the film!” and lose lots of viewers. At least make it the same as the series so that if people like it,they like Doctor Who not this weird film called “Doctor Who”.

Yes Hollywood should Ruin Doctor Who with Pop a culture references and Hot Woman and a explosions, sic fI alien invasion films are Cooler than ever now. EVERYONE Watches alien Invasion a movies now. what if the doctor got sent back in time to 1963 and the only way to get back to the present is to team up with the 1st doctor and use the tardis to find all the other doctors (no tardis is powerful enough to get back to the present). on the way they have to defeat monsters from doctor whos 50 years history. once there is all 11 doctors and all 11 tardis they combine all the time travel power to send the doctor back. then the 11th doctor regenerates into the 12th doctor, being witnessed by the other doctors. then another 11th doctor comes so there is all 12 doctors and they all celebrate. This could be a feature lengh movie in 3D! Problem is that 3 of the doctors are dead and 1 or 2 of them dont want to come back.

      ALL the Doctors ? . . . . CAN’T be done !.

Kinda wish fan’s would stop with the idea of having all 11 Doctors on screen together would just end.

How many times do other fans like me have to remind others fans that William, Patrick and Jon are DEAD, and that Tom, Peter, Colin and Sylvester are not exactly how they looked back in the days when they was the Doctor.

Paul, Chris and David on the other hand appearing with Matt is no problem, but Chris don’t give a damn about returning, and he has made that perfectly clear, so only the 8th, 10th and 11th Doctors would be ok for a story together.

Unless the writer comes up with a reason for them looking different, like in Time Crash when he looked older because of the merging of the time streams. I’m writing my own idea for an anniversary story where the past doctors are all clones from the Doctor’s memory, and since the memories of the older Doctors is so poor they all look different as they get older. There can always be an explanation for them looking older.

    I’d like there to be
    1. The Master, with no memory of the End of Time, being used by the Silence to kill the Doctor
    2. An old enemy like the Black Guardian in charge of the Silence
    3. Susan Foreman
    4. A cameo of Ian Chesterton
    5. The return to Trotters Lane
    6. The 8th Doctor
    7. Another classic Doctor (5th or 7th)
    8. The fact that the Doctor’s name is the key to opening the Time locked time war
    9. Omega trying to use the Doctor’s name to unlock to time lock so the time war would destroy the universe
    10. K9
    11. An Unearthly Child being shown on the 23rd November
    12. Daleks killing a lot of people again
    13. UNIT
    14. Either Captain Yates or Sergeant Benton alongside Colonel Mace or Captain Magambo
    15. Davros

the doctor’s name could be a code to the tardis and when it is answered the tardis explodes causing crack in time and the silence don’t want this.the villian could be the black guardian or omega.the doctor is framed by the unknown villian and the silence believe this so set up war and create an alliance to get him in the pandorica when really the belief of the silence is some other villians plan and they use the doctor’s name to blow it up this villian could be the leader of the silents

here is another idea that the doctor’s name is going to reveal the truth that the time lords serve the silence who are being who manipulate the scenes or are from outside time or something.his name maybe the code to the truth about time lords or the time lords were at war with the silents and the silents were over thrown by time lords as they were the original time lords and the doctor’s name will tell the truth changing time and maybe erasing the silents the true controllers and they are connected to the guardians of time or something complicated.

the anniversary starts of with the master being resurrected from the time war by the silence in there plan to kill the doctor soon they give him an order but he has another plan up his sleeve to open the time lock so hell can wage over the universe and time lords can be released little knowing the silence are controlling him soon the time war conquers time and space.but the master under the command of the silence plans to use the time lords and daleks to hunt down the doctor and kill him to stop a terrible event at the fields of trenzalore when the eleventh falls.the eleven doctors return and we see the war against the doctor by the silence which is connected to the time war and we soon begin to see the final battle on trenzalore as the full army of silents[millions of silents]come to kill the doctor for this is the fall of the eleventh but is the eleventh more than regenration is it the truth of the silence.they believe the doctor’s name will do something to them or will reveal a dark secret that will reveal the truth of the silence or something in time lord history to do with the other and omega

I was thinking… What if there was a prequel or something to the 50th Anniversary Episode. Like a whole episode just featuring the 8th and 9th Doctors in the Time War? I think that’d be great. Then it links into the next episode with the 11th Doctor and his new companion and whatever. Instead of trying to make the story to complicated with to many loose ends.

Rassilon was never dead. In the Five Doctors, it’s revealed he was infact immortal, but simply asleep all that time lying on his nice comfy bed in the Dark Tower a.k.a. the Tomb of Rassilon. The ring on his finger is what made him immortal.

Rassilon knew that immortality was a curse and not a blessing.

But it is confusing that it’s said he was resurrected by the Time Wars when the old chap wasint even dead to begin with, ha ha πŸ˜€

I’d love to see Ian Chesterton or Susan Foreman come in. They’re still alive, take advantage while you can!

I heard somewhere that their was going to be a twist near the end of the 50th series season. It could be that the doctor, still in his 11th incarnation is turned into a women.

This isn’t true, Moffatt would never do that

Plus: he denied these rumours on Twitter

I really dont agree with the doctor changing into a woman but I also dont agree with Whofan#1 because remember in the doctors wife he said that his friend was a bad boy and girl

Doctor Who WILL NEVER END mate. It’s moved on from TV in comic-strips, novels etc, so in some shape or form, Doctor Who continues, even during the those 16 years when there was no Doctor Who apart from the 1996 TV Movie.

Gallifrey had it’s Dark Time, the 1990’s and early 2000’s was our Dark Time in Doctor Who Fandom.

I also have a feeling the Doctor will regenerate in 2013, but I really want Matt Smith to stay untill at least 2015.

Matt Smith might continue after 50th and the contract maybe to be extended to 2014/2015

I REALLY don’t want the question to be answered. This is an anniversary of 50 years of never knowing who the Doctor is, that’s the heart of the show. What would be the point of blowing that to pieces, just ‘cos it’s been around for 50 years?
