Amy / Rory to leave Doctor Who In Series 7
Amy /Rory to leave Doctor Who In Series 7
At lasts nights press screening of The Doctor, The Widow and the wardrobe Steven Moffat announced “The final days of the Ponds are coming during the next series”.
He added that it would be a heartbreaking end for the ponds and he thinks River Song Will return as well. The Doctor will also get a new friend.
the TARDIS
December 21st, 2011 - 10:37amWhat’s TWOWS?
the TARDIS
December 21st, 2011 - 10:34amI wasn’t too fond of David Tennant’s Doctor, but I didn’t hate him. The only reason loads of people think that he is the best Doctor ever is because they began watching the show when it was revived in 2005, so they think Matt Smith is the third Doctor.
the TARDIS
December 21st, 2011 - 10:30amSteven Moffat said they may not come back after their ‘heartbreaking’ departure depending on the means of their exit. This means they may both be killed off.

December 21st, 2011 - 9:18amLol if I had an account then yeah!
John Locke
December 20th, 2011 - 11:42pmThat will be on youtube at some point I’m guessing.

December 20th, 2011 - 11:05pmMake sure you don’t miss a new (mis)adventure with the Doctor, Craig, Alfie and Sophie entitled Sale Away.
Coming Boxing Day
John Locke
December 20th, 2011 - 11:00pmOh, definitely.

December 20th, 2011 - 9:36pmCOmpared to the RTD era it is, he’s moved it away from “EastEnders land” of course it is rubbish compared to the classic series, but compared to some of the drivel RTD gave us over the years I’d rather have Moffat any day.
I just refuse to believe that anyoen can call it “childish” when they also claim it is “far too complicated for children” at exactly the same time, and complain about over use of innuendo and being overly scary. It seems that for every complaint there is, there is another complaint for exactly the opposite reason as the initial complaint was wanting to have.
You can’t please everyone certainly but let’s face it, the ratings are the same, more people watch it overall than the same period of the David tennant era.
With the exception of a couple of fans and newspapers there haven’t really been that many problems with the show, if there was, nobody would be watching it, yet they have remained constant.

December 20th, 2011 - 8:00pmI think you will find the the show is Doctor Who, But the Character is the The Doctor, As to the odd miss credit over the years. The main question was always is The Doctor half human(which has now been ansawered) or is he a timelord god/founder/createtor(watch remebrance of the darleks with ref to omaga).I am unsure as to your age group, but have the Doctor revile his Name before he looked into the untemped skisum would wreck everything..The Who in the shows title is who is the doctor, not who surname(P.Cushing films). To revile his turth, whats the show going to be called then…Doctor Jon Smith Timelord??? As for Quote :” Steven Moffat if anything hasn’t dumbed it down but “smartened it up” to the extent where it is beyond practically everyone unless your willing to rewatch every episode several times or are willing to memorise every word so only dedicated children and fans will understand any of it”
Please, how can you say that?? Have you watch any of the classic series?? SM has kiddie-fied the show. Ask anyone 30. I like SM as a script writer, but we(as fan’s, i speck on behalf of alot of old fans)need more adult stories,(look a the Robert Homles years). Back in the 70’s Tom Baker’s stories did have children hiding behind sofa.
Although good, you cant say that of any of the last two seasons.

December 20th, 2011 - 6:09pmI agree with you there but I think she should have less guest appearances next year to give her a little bit more mystery like in series 4 and 5
John Locke
December 20th, 2011 - 5:15pmFor some reason, I don’t see Kingston ever being a full time companion. More guest appearances though? Sure.
Admiral Icktheus
December 20th, 2011 - 2:37pmApparently River will stay on after the Ponds leave but whether she’s a full time companion or a one off appearance character is unknown.
David (RBM)
December 20th, 2011 - 12:50pmSince the 4th series i thought that river would be the next companion , i didn’t know why but i thought that there was a real connection between the doctor and river. But seeing amy i forgot about it completely. Now that amy and rory aren’t in it at least for now i think that river can come on as a full time companion and wife to the doctor.

December 19th, 2011 - 10:52pmHe’s always got a get out clause somewhere, for example he has never personally stated when Amy and Rory are leaving other than “soon”. He is the sort of person who would not get rid of them until the 50th anniversary and reveal that it had been a cunning trap, and as he had never said anything he would get away with it because the press have assumed somethings about the show.
John Locke
December 19th, 2011 - 9:59pmI know, but I’m not sure we can take everything Moffat says to heart.
Admiral Icktheus
December 19th, 2011 - 9:27pmDoctor:He said that he wants to go to school.
Craig:Is that it? Of course he’s gonna go to school.
Doctor:He seemed very…determined. Anyway shall we pick up Sophie now?
Craig:Maybe you should ask 17 year old Rory.
Doctor:Craig???? Really???
Craig:It was a joke.
Doctor:Yes and if Stormy hears those jokes then Omega only knows what will happen at school. What if John McToughie hears him? Toughest kid in the school apparently. Stood up in front of the class and poured ketchup all over the teachers head and then whacked him round the face and then used a basketball to attack the deputy head. He’s mad.
Craig:Look who’s talking.
Doctor:Craig Stormy is right next to you and if he hears that joke!
Admiral Icktheus
December 19th, 2011 - 9:19pmDoctor:Merry Christmas Craig!
Craig:Umm you too but err I forgot to get you a present.
Doctor:Theres always the next 100 trillion years. Anyway I got you a Rory figure but this isn’t any old Rory figure this is a 17 year old Rory.
Craig:But Alfie hates 17 year old Rory. It’s the…the…voice.
Doctor:Ah yes the dreaded sound of the 17 year old Rory. It makes the Trivaerhbdhktxdtjnxvlians wail in pain.
Craig:Since when did they make figures of Rory anyway?
Doctor:Since 17 year old Rory. No Stormy. No how dare you suggest that!! Yes uh huh I see. Interesting. Training???!??????!!?????!??????
Craig:Whats he saying?
To be continued…immediately

December 19th, 2011 - 6:24pmThey might not leave mid-series, Moffat is remaining tight lipped on how and when they will leave, I’m expecting a shocking plot twist somewhere.

December 19th, 2011 - 6:23pmIt would, but it’s a new “friend”. I find it interesting they put friend in inverted commas in the press release, it makes it sound as though they are not friendly at all.
If it’s the RAni a few people will be annoyed, that’s all I’ll say.
John Locke
December 19th, 2011 - 6:11pmSince they are (unfortunately) getting rid of the Ponds, and if they must bring in a new companion instead having the Doctor be on his own… how about Canton? Mark Shepard is awesome and it would make some sense.

December 19th, 2011 - 5:55pmIt’s not been confirmed when they will go, they could leave in the first episode, or the last. Nothing has been specified yet, other than it’s after the Christmas Special.

December 19th, 2011 - 5:46pmI doubt Jenny is coming back, she was Moffat’s back up plan for River Song’s identity if whoever played Amy Pond didn’t stay on for a second series.

December 19th, 2011 - 4:20pmThe show is about the mystery of the Doctor.
The Doctor is not his name, it is a title to cover up his true name (which is unpronuncable to human beings (the closest thing we can say is “Theta Sigma”) but there is a reason why he doesn’t want to go by his old “nickname” and goes as “The Doctor”, and that is what is going to be revealed soon.
The problem is, RTD went for a soap opera style, Steven Moffat if anything hasn’t dumbed it down but “smartened it up” to the extent where it is beyond practically everyone unless your willing to rewatch every episode several times or are willing to memorise every word so only dedicated children and fans will understand any of it.

December 19th, 2011 - 12:44pmAnd that’s why Rupert Grin should be the Twelfth Doctor!

December 19th, 2011 - 12:34pmKovarian:Ok please calm down everyone. Shut up please! SILENCE!!!!
Silence Member:Why are you shouting our orders name out? Is it like bogies?
Silent:You are annoying me.
Kovarian:Please you two shut up. Now how are we going to kill Amy Pond?
Silence Member 2:Umm why don’t we drop a piano on her head?
Kovarian:You’re fired!
Silence Member 1:Why don’t we do it just how we killed The Doctor?
Kovarian:That’s too complicated!
Silent:Only because your memory is weak.
Kovarian:I wish I was dead.
Silence Member 2:I’ll get that piano!
