September 4th, 2012 - 10:45pmThe licence fee makes up a massive part of the BBC’s budget, however they always need more money which they make from their merchandise wings and BBC Worldwide which isn’t part of the licence free. This was made by BBC Worldwide so wasn’t paid by the licence fee and the money made from it will go to the cost of BBC shows. If it had have been paid for by the licence fee then it’d be free on the BBC website.
